CCMT Counselling 2023 or GATE Admission Counselling 2023 is a common platform for candidates to apply for M.Tech./ M.Arch./ M.Plan./M.Des. programmes, based on their GATE score of years 2021, 2022 and 2023, in all NITs, IIEST Shibpur, and some IIITs and GFTIs.
This CCMT 2023 platform for online counselling wherein the candidates can fill in single online application form from their homes and apply to all programmes in all the participating institutions to which they are eligible.
In the CCMT 2023, after seat allotment, the candidates will be required to upload the needful documents. The features such as online withdrawal and willingness change etc. It is enormously increases the overall convenience of candidates. Candidates are allowed to participate in both regular rounds and Special Rounds even if one has obtained a seat in the regular round. CCMT 2023 – Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur shall conduct Centralized Counselling for M.Tech/ M.Arch/ M.Plan Admissions. CCMT registration 2023 started on June 8 in online mode at ccmt.nic.in. The official notification for CCMT 2023 has been released. Candidates applying for these admissions through CCMT counselling must note that the GATE scorecard is mandatory to register for the admission process.
Also, the candidates will need to keep the specified scanned documents ready before registering for the counselling process. The mode of paying the application fee is online. It is important to have a clear understanding of the CCMT registration process, which includes the fee payment procedure, the login process and steps to retrieve password.
Admissions into the participating NITs and GFTIs on the basis of GATE scores will be done through CCMT 2023. Three rounds of CCMT counselling along with additional special rounds will be conducted and seats will be allotted accordingly.

NIT Admissions 2023 for various courses have been started across the country. NIT Andhra Pradesh has started the registration process for its M.Tech programs through a centralized counselling portal, ccmt.nic. Students who interested in taking admission can get more information on the official website of NIT AP, nitandhra.ac.in. The last date to apply for the program is June 28.
The admission to various M.Tech courses at NIT Andhra Pradesh will be through centralized counselling based on the GATE score of years 2021, 2022 and 2023. This year NIT Admissions 2023 is being organized by Malaviya National Institute of Technology, MNIT Jaipur. CCMT 2023 Eligibility Criteria: The MNIT Jaipur authorities have announced eligibility criteria for centralized counselling for M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan admissions on the official website. The same has been provided in the table below as well. AND GATE Qualification: Having a valid GATE score in 2021/2022/2023.
Qualifying Degree: a) The candidates should have passed and secured at least 6.5 CGPA (on a 10- point scale) or 60% for GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC, whereas 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 55% in case of SC/ST/PwD candidates.
b) If the result of qualifying degree is awaited, provisional admission is permitted to a candidate subject to meeting above minimum qualifying degree requirements.
c) For each programme, eligibility is separately defined based on certain combinations of degree disciplines and GATE paper.
Additional certifications/ qualifications: Candidates possessing certificates/ qualifications from any of the professional societies (such as The Institution of Engineers (India) (IE), The Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), The Aeronautical Society of India (AeSI), The Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers, including Polymer and Environmental Group (IIChemE), The Indian Institute of Metals (IIM), The Indian Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE), etc. ) and have enrolled with these institutions with permanent recognition may also be eligible to participate in some of the PG programs through CCMT.
CCMT 2021 Admission Process: The authorities have specified the process to be followed for centralized counselling for M.Tech/ M.Arch/ M.Plan admissions as explained below:
- Online registration, choice filling and locking
- Allotment of seats
- Payment of seat acceptance fees
- Reporting at specified centres after payment of seat acceptance fees
- Payment of fee for confirmation of seat, balance fee and joining the allotted institute
- Reporting at the institute allotted and payment of institute’s balance fee as specified.
CCMT Application Form 2023: The centralized counselling conducting authorities have commenced CCMT 2023 registration in online mode on June 8. - Click on the “Online Registration and Choice Filling button.”
- As a new candidate, you will have to register for the CCMT counseling 2023 procedure from scratch.
- Enter your GATE details: GATE registration number, your name, exam year, your GATE score.
- Type in your password and submit the CCMT registration form.
- You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number.
- Permanent Identifier(PID) will be sent to your registered email.
- Next log into the CCMT official’s website and fill out the rest of the details.
- Submit your CCMT 2023 application form.

CCMT Merit List 2023: Merit list will be prepared according to what is called the “common percentile” attained by the candidate. This common percentile will be worked out on the basis of candidates’ GATE score. In the event of two or more candidates with the same common percentile, the tie will be resolved as per the inter-se-merit of candidates, following the below-mentioned criteria.
i). Candidates having GATE score in 2021 will be given preference over candidates having score of 2020, or 2023.
ii). Candidates having GATE score in 2022 will be given preference over candidates having score of 2023.
iii). If year of GATE score is same, then preference will be given to that candidate who has obtained better GATE marks out of 100.
iv). In the unlikely event of their year of GATE score and GATE marks out of 100 being the same, preference will be given based on the All India Rank (AIR).
v). In highly unlikely event of candidates having same year of GATE score, GATE marks out of 100, and AIR, Date of Birth will be considered. Elder candidate will be given preference. vi. In highly unlikely event of candidates having same year of GATE score, GATE marks out of 100, AIR, and Date of Birth, rank will be decided on the basis of Random number generation. Candidate with lower random number generated will be given preference.
CCMT Counselling 2023: It is already known that candidates will be required to fill a choice of courses and institutes while filling the CCMT application form 2023. The choices will be considered by the authorities for each round. This shall be followed by the allotment of seats for each of the three rounds for CCMT 2023.

Stage One: (A) CCMT Application Form 2023 – Online Registration and Payment of Registration Fee. To participate in the CCMT 2023 counselling process, all eligible candidates must first register themselves through an online registration process during the specified period. The registration fee can be paid using online mode. All candidates must carefully enter their correct personal details, academic credentials, bank details, and other information during online registration.
(B) CCMT Choice Filling 2023 – Choice Filling and Locking: After successful registration, the candidates will be able to fill and lock their choices of programmesin order of their preference from the list of eligible programmes offered by various PIs appearing in their respective CCMT 2023 login. Candidates must take print copy of their registration form, which contains the locked choices and terms and conditions. This print copy has to be signed and submitted by the candidate at the time of final reporting at the finally allotted Institute.
Stage Two: CCMT Counselling 2023 – Three Regular Rounds of Counselling: Three rounds of seat allotment and document verification will be conducted, which will be followed by physical reporting at the finally allotted institute.
(A) CCMT Seat Allotment 2023: Eligible candidates for seat allotment: Candidates who have registered for CCMT 2023, paid registration fee and filled & saved choices. Seat Allotment All the available seats will be considered for allotment. The choices submitted by the candidates during registration will be processed and a seat will be allotted based on the merit, as per the rules of allotment. The allotment result will be declared on the CCMT-2023 website and candidates will be able to download their Provisional Seat Allotment Letter (PSAL) from their CCMT-2023 login after depositing the Seat Acceptance Fee.
(B) CCMT Seat Acceptance Fee 2023 – Payment of Seat Acceptance Fee: When a seat is allotted to the candidate, he/she has to pay the Seat Acceptance Fee through online mode. Proof of payment of Seat Acceptance Fee has to be produced by the candidate at the time of reporting at the finally allotted institute. Only after payment of seat acceptance fee, the candidate will be able to download the Provisional Seat Allotment Letter (PSAL), upload the documents and submit willingness online.
(C) Online Document Uploading: On allotment of a seat and payment of seat acceptance fee, the candidate will have to upload the required documents through their login for online verification. Please note that the option of document uploading will be enabled only after payment of seat acceptance fee.
(D) Online Submission of Willingness: On allotment of a seat and payment of seat acceptance fee, the candidates are required to exercise one of the following willingness online through their login: i). Float, if they wish to be considered in the next round for all of their better preferred choices (i.e. across the institutes). ii). Slide, if they wish to be considered in the next round for their better preferred choices only within the institute allotted to them. iii). Freeze, if they are satisfied with the currently allotted seat and not interested in their better preferred choices in the subsequent round(s).
(E) Online Document Verification: The document verification will be done by the verifying officer of the respective allotted institute only in the online mode.
Stage Three: Issue of Online Document Verification Certificate (ODVC): As an outcome of online verification of documents, an ODVC will be generated, which will be available for download in the candidate’s login. The ODVC will indicate the personal details of the candidate, details of the institute and programme allotted, details of seat acceptance fee, the willingness (Float or Slide or Freeze) exercised by the candidate for subsequent rounds of allotment, and STATUS of document verification. The candidate should check all the entries in the ODVC and download it for producing the signed copy of the same at the time of final reporting at the finally allotted institute.
