As part of “Vidyavarathi” under DD Saptagiri Digital Platform, video lessons are being aired on Doordarshan Saptagiri TV Channel for students from 1st to 10th class by Andhra Pradesh SS. These online video classes broadcasts 5 days a week (Monday to Friday) and 6 hours a day on Doordarshan (Saptagiri Channel) for video lessons to AP School students.

Therefore, all students must watch the class wise video lessons broadcast by Doordarshan (Saptagiri Channel). Also principals and teachers should provide information from time to time through their school whatAapp groups and take appropriate steps to ensure that all students watch Online TV lessons. DD Saptagiri Andhra Pradesh – DD Saptagiri (దూరదర్శన్ సప్తగిరి) is a state-owned television channel telecasting various programmes in the Telugu language in Andhra Pradesh. Now AP Government decided to telecast the online classes for all AP School Students.

AP SCERT Instructions on Online Classes to AP Students 2021: SCERT AP has given instructions for conduct of online classes through DD Saptagiri and Virtual class rooms: SCERT has instructed to all the RJD of School Education and DEOs in the State that, the summer vacation for teachers and students of Classes I to X for all schools under all managements is extended till 30.06.2021.

As per the above situation it was decided to issue a detailed academic calendar and the said activities to be taken up through, Doordarshan, Radio, Virtual Class rooms, weBex through YouTube streaming, personal contact through WhatsApp groups etc., to conduct online education for all classes from 15th June.

All the DEOs in the state are requested to ensure the live streaming by using different methods. An instruction should be circulated to all parents not having access for online streaming (Smart Phone/Laptops) should be reachable through Doordarshan and the concerned HMs should clarify the doubts/clarifications to the students once in a week.

Further the DEOs in the state are requested to issue detailed instructions to conduct the online sessions utilizing the infrastructure available with the schools and adopt the Virtual class room platform by duly identifying the best teachers in the districts concerned for online/offline streaming of the academic lessons apart from the live streaming of Doordarshan to be done at state level by duly constituting a committee with Principal DIETs as convener for planning the day-wise, subject-wise calendar for steaming of lessons through virtual mode. The streaming of Doordarshan schedule will be intimated shortly.

Teachers should to share the links to your school students and see that the students click on the respective links to ensure that learning is happened. We should see that, due to Covid-19, the students should not be deprived of learning. The HMs and teachers are requested to monitor this item of work seriously and to ensure that learning is happened for students of all classes.

DD Saptagiri telecast 10th Class lessons 2021: Public broadcaster Doordarshan’s Saptagiri TV channel is telecasting two hours of videos of 10th Class lessons from April 8. DD Saptagiri is telecasting Online Classes in dedicated slots from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. This telecast on DD Saptagiri is intended to leverage the wide access and high presence of televisions in rural households.

Officials have sent SMSs to parents about the initiative, in order to ensure that students utilize this opportunity to prepare well for their exams. The AP SCERT had been supporting the initiative in terms of planning key topics and by ensuring quality content management. DD Saptagiri is widely publicising about the initiative to ensure attendance of maximum number of students.

Online Classes to AP School Students: In the wake of the spread of Covid-19, TV lessons are being aired on Doordarshan Saptagiri channel for classes 1 to 10 to keep students’ readings uninterrupted. This is good news for AP students. Andhra Pradesh has started online classes through DD Sapthagir Platform. Bridge course will be telecasted for Class 1 to 5, Subject lessons will be telecasted for students in Class 6 to 9.

Teachers come to school once a week to clarify the doubts coming to the children. Students are coming to schools in those days if they have any doubts about TV lessons. Bridge course books specially designed for 1st to 5th Class students were distributed to them. English, Maths and Telugu subjects are taught in English medium system.

• Class 1st and 2nd Lessons are telecasting from 11.00 AM to 12.00 Noon.
• Class 3rd, 4th and 5th Class lessons are airing from 12.00 Noon to 1.00 PM.
• Class 6th and 7th subject lessons are telecasting from 2.00 PM to 3.00 PM.
• Class 8th and 9th online classes live from 3.00 PM to 4.00 PM.
• AP SSC 10th online classes are broadcasting from 10.00 AM to 11.00 AM for Languages, and 4.00 PM to 5.00 PM fro Non-Languages(two-hour program for 10th Class students).

Teacher Work

• Teachers who teach lessons for Classes 1-5 are attending school every Tuesday to clarify doubts coming to students.
• HM and teachers of Classes 6-7 go to school every Wednesday.
• Teachers who teach lessons for Classes 8-9 are coming to school every Friday.
• Tenth Class teachers go to school every Wednesday and Friday.
