The Degree Online Services, Telangana – DOST 2023 notification and a detailed schedule have been issued by TSCHE for degree admissions on its official website, dost.cgg.gov.in. The online applications are invited for admissions into all UG courses. The Telangana Higher Education Council is now focusing on degree admissions.
Hopes to complete degree admissions as soon as possible. The admissions process is completed in July each year, and classes begin in August. This time too, the Board of Higher Education expects to complete the admissions within the first week of July by issuing the Dost notification. Council sources say the degree semester approach will be smooth if degree classes begin in August.
Such as B.A./B.Sc./B.Com./B.Com.(Voc)/ B.Com.(Hons)/BSW/BBA/BBM/BCA etc., offered by all colleges affiliated to Osmania University, Kakatiya University, Telangana University, Mahatma Gandhi University, Palamuru University and Satavahana University respectively for the academic year 2023 through the official website of DOST – dost.cgg.gov.in.
The Telangana State Council of Higher Education, TSCHE will release the Degree Online Services, Telangana i.e., DOST notification for admissions into undergraduate (BA, BSc and BCom) courses offered by colleges under seven universities including Telangana Mahila Vishwa Vidyalayam (Telangana Women’s University).
The DOST is for admissions into undergraduate courses offered by colleges under seven universities-Osmania University, Kakatiya University, Telangana University, Mahatma Gandhi University, Palamuru University, Satavahana University and Telangana Women’s University. Already, the Telangana Women’s University was included in the Common Post Graduate Entrance Tests (CPGET) 2023 for admissions into PG courses.

Web Note by DOST: DOST 2023 Phase-I registrations and web options are announced on June 29 and the DOST schedule has been announced on its web portal. ‘DOST’ Registrations & Degree online admission process would be started very soon. DOST Convener has announced that the online services Telangana (DOST) registrations and web options for the online degree admissions.
DOST process dates will be revealed soon. The state government has already postponed all entrance exams (AL TS CETs) due to corona. Dost online admissions process is in three stages. DOST Application Fee Rs.200. In T State, more than thousand-degree colleges are offering seats in 200 courses.

Only one DOST Online application is required to admission in six universities in T State. You can choose which course you want to join. There is no need to apply to every college separately. Knowing the Admission procedures, you can easily enroll in the desired course.

DOST is the only channel for enrolling in govt and private colleges. The notification said that the portal was customized completely student friendly. You can login to the portal with the intermediate hall ticket number.

The process of admission is simple. It is student friendly and one can do it by himself/herself. Candidate must register himself/herself by visiting the website and logging in by the Intermediate hall ticket number.

Additional services for the students are planned to ease their burden during COVID 19.
- To avoid human touch, Real time Digital Face Recognition of T App Folio is introduced. (This service is applicable only for the students who passed out from Telangana BIE).
- The students must install Mobile based T App Folio which contains DOST ID generation service.
- Students must enter Hall ticket Number of TSBIE, Date of Birth, Aadhaar Number and Mobile Number.
- On verification of Hall Ticket, Date of Birth, Uniqueness of Aadhaar and Uniqueness of Mobile, the details of the data (Candidate’s Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Gender, Candidate’s Photograph) would be returned to TS App Folio application.
- On successful authentication of live photograph (selfie photo) with the photograph available in TSBIE service, DOST ID is generated.
- Students will be given information of DOST ID and PIN generated over SMS and on App.
- The students can go for further process of registration and exercise web options on DOST online web portal.
DOST Registration Fee
Registration for the first phase of admissions with a fee of Rs.200 can be done as per the schedule. With registration fee of Rs.400, candidates can enroll for second phase admissions and third phase admissions.

Online Self Reporting by Students: Students who have already confirmed their seats online by self-reporting in Phase-I, II and III must report to colleges as per the schedule. The colleges will hold orientation for students and classwork for semester-I will commence as per the notified date.
T App Folio: Students seeking admissions into conventional degree courses through Degree Online Services, Telangana (DOST) 2021 can now register using the T App Folio, a real-time digital face recognition system. In view of the Covid-19 pandemic, the TSCHE and CCE has introduced the new feature service is applicable only for students who passed out from Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TS BIE).
For registering, candidates must download and install the T App Folio on their mobile phone, which contains DOST ID generation service. The students should seed in their BIE hall ticket number, date of birth, Aadhaar number and mobile number in the app.
On verification of these details along with authentication of a live photograph (selfie photo) with photograph available with the TS BIE, a DOST ID is generated. Students can go in for the further process of registration and exercise of web options through the DOST online web portal https://dost.cgg.gov.in/.
Students can also register with DOST at the helpline centres or MeeSeva centres. A total of 60 Help Line Centres (HLCs) including one State HLC, six university HLCs, 33 district HLCs and 20 college HLCs. Apart from registrations, these centres will help students in rectifying any mismatch with Aadhaar details and rectify any wrong uploading of certificates.
Students whose Aadhaar number is already linked with a number can directly register on the DOST website with mobile OTP authentication. If a student’s mobile number is not linked with Aadhaar details, such student have to link his/her parent’s mobile number to their Aadhaar number.

DOST Schedule for registrations, Web Options and Seat allotments: The Phase I, II and III registrations would be done as per the schedule . Candidates need to pay Rs.200 for the first phase registration and Rs.400 for the 2nd and 3rd phase registrations. Apply for DOST 2023:
TSCHE has started the Degree Online Services, Telangana (Dost) for students who have cleared their TS inter exams. Through this portal, they can apply for admissions to undergraduate courses. Students who have cleared the TS Inter exams can apply for admissions to any state-based university by applying at dost.cgg.gov.in. Candidate can register themselves at the website by logging in by with their intermediate hall ticket number.
Through this portal, students will be able to apply for courses and colleges of their preference. Seats will be allotted according to their choice and merit. Those who get offered a seat will have to confirm by self-reporting and paying the fee. In case a student does not want to accept the seat, they can reserve it and wait for the second allocation. Those who select a seat online will be called for physical verification to the colleges as per the time schedule.
How to register for DOST: Students will have to link their mobile number with their Aadhaar number and verify the same at the DOST website. An OTP will be sent to them. The registration can also be done through the official mobile app of the state government T App Folio, and Mee Seva Centre as well in order to register. A registration fee of Rs 200 will be applicable.
After the registration students will get DOST ID and PIN. This will be further useful in logging into the website anytime in the future. Students will be able to fill the application form only after registration. There are three steps to complete the registration process – pre-registration, fee payment, and registration and exercise of web options.
Seat Reservation Process and fee reimbursement: Entering of MeeSeva Caste Certificate Number (with CND number and sub-caste), issued by Government of Telangana is mandatory for seat allotment under reservation. Income Certificate taken on or after 01.04.2021 (valid only for DOST 2021), N.C.C. Certificate, Extra Curricular Activities Certificate, Physically Challenged Certificate, CAP (Children of Armed Personnel) Certificate should be uploaded.
ePass Fee Reimbursement: DOST Fee and Payment Process: Existing three payment gateways i.e., Bill-desk, Atom and TWallet (T-Wallet does not charge any commission from students while paying the fee online) shall be used for DOST2021 for DOST registration fee and reservation fee.
Govt Colleges: The students who are allotted to government universities or colleges and are eligible for ePass fee reimbursement need not pay any amount for online self-reporting.
Private colleges: Students who are allotted to private colleges and are eligible for ePass fee reimbursement need to pay an amount of Rs.500 for online self-reporting.
