Dr. YSR Horticulture University has given Dr YSRHU AP BSc Horticulture Admission 2022 notification on its official website for admission into B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture course through AP EAPCET 2022 under Bi.P.C stream for the academic year 2022-23. Students who have qualified in the AP Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test can check details and submit the online application form at https://drysrhu.ap.gov.in.
Dr YSRHU is inviting AP BSc Horticulture Admission online applications for admission into BSc Horticulture course of Dr.YSR Horticultural University, Andhra Pradesh. The candidates need to download the application form and information brochure (with details of eligibility through AP EAPCET Bi.P.C. stream placed in the website https://drysrhu.ap.gov.in.
Eligibility: A pass in two year Intermediate examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, A.P. or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the University or Board of Intermediate Education with the following subjects namely: i) Physical Sciences ii) Biological or Natural Sciences.
Age: The candidates for admission to these course shall be required to have completed 17 years of age on 31st December 2022 with an upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates and 25 years in respect of SC and ST candidates and 27 years for Physically Challenged candidates.
The duly filled in application along with required enclosures and online payment receipt should reach THE REGISTRAR, Dr.YSR Horticultural University, Administrative Office, Venkataramannaguem- 534101, West Godavari District, A.P. on or before 12-09-2022. Criteria for Selection: The selection of candidates for all the seats shall be made on the basis of ranks obtained by the candidates in AP EAPCET 2022. The candidates will be selected based on merit, presidential order, region and social status. State Level rank only will be considered.
Allotment of seats during counseling process: The allotment of seats will be done during open manual counseling. The dates and venue for the counseling will be notified later in news papers / website. The candidates who submit application form with all enclosures including the application fee receipt will only be called for counseling for allotment of seats based on merit.
Reservation under special category seats: Seat allotment in these reservations shall be done based on the priorities awarded to candidates in each category following certificate verification and authentication by respective authorities as per the relevant G.O’s applicable from time to time (NCC by NCC Directorate, Hyderabad; Defence (CAP) by Sainik Welfare Department; Games and Sports by Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh and Differently abled (PH) by Medical Authorities) and rank in AP EAPCET 2022.Wards of candidates under CAP quota, claiming Local Status are required to submit scanned copy of Local status certificate issued by Tahsildar of concerned along with their application

- Pass Certificate cum Memorandum of Marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying examination ( Intermediate or its equivalent.
- Hall Ticket & Rank Card of AP EAPCET-2022.
- SSC or equivalent certificate, showing the evidence of the Date of Birth.
- In case of the candidates belonging to Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and EWS, latest certified copy of the Social Status Certificate issued by the competent authority.
- Xerox copies of Bonafide / Study Certificates from 6th to 12th Class.
- Residential Certificate.
Such of the students who are having a break in the years of study for reasons other than failure or those who passed the qualifying examination by private study have to submit this certificate issued by the Mandal Revenue Officer / Tahsildar. In case, the students have resided in more than one place, separate certificate from the Mandal Revenue Officer / Tahsildar, should be furnished for such places of residence.
Forms required for the candidates eligible under Farmers Quota seats (40%) (Please see the Information Brochure for details).
a. FORM-I: It is a proforma indicating the patta numbers and extent of land owned by the candidate / parents duly certified by the Mandal Revenue Officer / Tahsildar with office seal and the candidate has to enclose attested xerox copies of pattadar pass book as an evidence of the extent of land.
b. Form-II: It is a proforma to be certified by the Head Master of the School with office seal that the candidate has studied for a minimum period of four years in schools located in Non-Municipal areas during their period of study from 1st class to 12th class / Intermediate (Non-Municipal Area Certificate).
c. Form-I and Form-II need to be filled in with the signatures of concerned officials viz., Mandal Revenue Officer / Tahsildar and concerned Head of Institution, respectively, along with office seal. Otherwise, the claim of the candidates under this category will be summarily rejected.
Proof of receipt for payment of application fee for Rs.1500/- (for General) / Rs.750/- for (SC/ST/PH).

The seats shall be treated as “Payment Seats” only (as per approval of Government of Andhra Pradesh) to be filled up based on the AP EAPCET 2022 ranks of the candidates as per the rule of reservation and presidential order but with high fee structure (as indicated in the information brochure).
The seats are Category “A” Seats in Private Horticultural Colleges with affiliation to Dr. YSRHU (as per approval of Government of Andhra Pradesh) to be filled up based on the AP EAPCET 2022 ranks of the candidates as per the Presidential order and Rule of reservation but with a separate fee structure.
