GUJCET Registration 2025, How to submit online application at gujcet.gseb.org

GUJCET Registration 2025 means the registration process for the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) 2025 has begun as per the schedule.

Eligible candidates can apply for the entrance exam at the official website of the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) at gujcet.gseb.org.

The board conducts the exam for students seeking admission to various engineering and pharmacy courses offered across colleges in Gujarat.

The exam is conducted in English, Hindi, and Gujarati medium. The candidates will also have the option to fill in the application form in any of these three languages.

The GUJCET exam is a gateway for admission to various engineering and pharmacy courses offered by the institutes of Gujarat.

Candidates can register on the official board website at  gujcet.gseb.org. Those candidates who are domiciles of Gujrat and have passed or appeared for the class 12 exam are eligible to apply for the same.

Gujarat CET details 2025

The entrance exam will be held for admissions to Engineering and Pharmacy courses. Candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 300 for GUJCET 2025, and it can be paid via net banking, debit card, or credit card, or can also pay using the SBI e-Pay “SBI Branch Payment” option in any SBI Branch of the country.

Candidates must note that while filling the details, extra care must be taken while filling Name. It must be the same as the class 12 examination form.

GUJCET Documents required

  • Passport-size photographs of the candidates in JPG format of no more than 50 KB.
  • Scanned copy of the candidates’ signature in JPG format of not more than 50 KB size.

Steps to complete the GUJCET Registration 2025

Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board has enabled theGujarat Common Entrance Test registration link on its official website, gujcet.gseb.org.

Candidates who are eligible for this entrance examination can check details and complete the GUJCET Registration process on its GSEB Official web portal with the required information and necessary documents. To submit the GUJCET Online Application can follow the given simple steps.

  • Eligible students must visit the official website, gseb.org in your device browser.
  • Once you reach the official website, click the GUJCET Registration link on the home page.
  • After clicking on the GUJCET Exam Registration link, a new web page will appear in your device screen. Now, complete your registration at this stage by providing the necessary information.
  • After completion of new registration, log in to the web page using login credentials.
  • After logging into the web page, pay the examination fee at this stage by way of online payment method.
  • After successful payment, fill in the required details to register for the exam and upload the necessary documents.
  • Download and take a printout of the filled application form for further use.

GUJCET Application fees: Candidates must pay the application fee of Rs 300 for GUJCET 2025. This fee can be paid in online mode via the SBIePay system using a credit card, debit card, or net banking as well as on the SBIePay option of SBI branch payment.

In 2021, the GUJCET results were announced on August 21. A total of 1.17 lakh students had registered for the entrance exam. Out of the total, as many as 1.13 lakh had appeared for the exam.

More than 9200 students had scored 80 and above percentile in group A, while 13,523 students scored 80 and above percentile in group B. In group A, as many as 474 students scored above 99, while 678 students scored above the 99 percentile in group B.

Instructions for filling out the application form of GUJCET

The board has laid down details of the required hardware for GUJCET 2025. It should have a: 

  • Screen resolution of 1024*768 pixels.
  • Minimum RAM of 1 GB. Recommended is  2 GB
  • Availability of 1 GB disk space
  • Minimum Intel® Core™ i3 Processor (4M Cache, 2.93 GHz) or higher

The photographs that the applicant would upload should be uploaded in the form are scanned copies, including that of photo and signature. Both should be in .jpg/.jpeg format and the size must be between 5kb to 5kb with an approximate dimension of 120px X 120px.

Candidates are recommended to keep all the required documents handy. Scanned image of photograph and signature, class 10 and 12 marksheets, domicile certificate, identity proof (Aadhar card), income certificate and other required documents while filling the application form. 

Gujarat Common Entrance Test is a state-level examination conducted annually by GSEB. The exam is conducted for candidates who aspire to join engineering and pharmacy courses in the state colleges of Gujarat.

The exam is conducted offline, and the question paper consists of Biology or Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry questions.

Candidates are given 180 minutes to solve a total of 120 Multiple choice questions. Each question carries 1 mark and 0.25 marks are deducted for every wrong answer.
