IGNOU BSc Nursing Entrance Test Registration 2025, Apply at ignou.ac.in

IGNOU BSc Nursing Entrance Test Registration 2025 or IGNOU Nursing Registration 2025 link has been enabled by the IGNOU on its official website. IGNOU Post B.Sc Nursing application form for January session released at ignou.ac.in.

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is inviting online applications for OPENNET VIII (entrance test) for Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Programme for January session admission on IGNOU official website at student information dashboard.

The eligible candidates can register online for the B.Sc. Nursing entrance test through the official website of IGNOU – ignou.ac.in.

Candidates should note that the programme study centres for Post Basic BSc Nursing are located only in regional centres. Candidates can check the regional centres and other details from the official notification.

Selection Process

The selection for admission to Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing January session will be based on the Region wise merit list.

The notification reads “Region-wise merit list for admission to Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing January session will be prepared based on marks obtained in the OPENNET VIII (Entrance Test) and will be displayed on the IGNOU website after the declaration of results.”

For BSc Nursing, interested candidates should have a diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with a minimum of two years of experience in the profession after Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (RNRM). Or, they can have a diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with a minimum of five years of experience in the profession after RNRM.

Steps to complete the IGNOU Nursing Registration 2025

Indira Gandhi National Open University, IGNOU has begun the registration process for BSc Nursing entrance exam on its official website, http://www.ignou.ac.in/.

Candidates can apply online through the official site of IGNOU. To apply for BSC nursing entrance exam candidates can follow these simple steps given below. 

• Candidates need to visit the official site of IGNOU on ignou.ac.in in your device browser.
• Once you reach the official website, click on the Nursing Entrance Exam link available on the home page.
• After clicking on that link, Indira Gandhi National Open University Nursing Entrance Test web portal will appear.
• Click on the New registration button on the home page.
• After clicking on that button, Student Registration Form will appear. Enter the registration details and click on submit.
• After successful new registration process, click on the sign in button on the home page. Enter the login details and click on the login button.
• After successful login to the account, online application form will appear. Fill in the application form with required information and upload the necessary documents.
• After successful submission of online application form, make a payment towards application fee.
• Click on submit and download the confirmation page. Keep a hard copy of the same for further need.

• Click Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Entrance Examination on home page
• Click on the new registration link
• Fill user name, email id, password, mobile number correctly. Remember your email id and password. You will receive email id and password in your mail automatically.
• Use the same email id and password for submitting the online application.
• Fill up the form with your personal and academic details
• Upload your scanned photograph and signature
• Next step is to pay the fee online
• Recheck the details you have entered and make corrections if required
