IGNOU OPENMAT MBA Entrance Test: IGNOU OPENMAT MBA Entrance Tests 2020 Schedule and Apply Online IGNOU OPENMAT MBA Entrance Test from January 31. NTA has released the IGNOU MBA Admission Test 2020 Schedule and the MBA entrance examinations will be conducted on notified date.

IGNOU OPENMAT MBA Entrance Test 2020: Online application process for IGNOU OPENMAT 2020 has begun. NTA will conduct the OPENMAT XLVII for admission to management (MBA) programme on April 29. The online application process will close on 30th June 2020. Candidates can apply online at https://ignouexams.nta.nic.in/. NTA will release the IGNOU OPENMAT 2020 admit card on April 9. It will be a computer-based test.

IGNOU MBA Entrance test 2020 will be held on April 29. This is the second consecutive year, the National Testing Agency, NTA would conduct the entrance exams on behalf for Indira Gandhi National Open University, IGNOU for these two courses. Details of the exam along with the option for registration will begin on February 28th.

The IGNOU entrance test for admission to MBA programmes is called OPENMAT, which until last year was held twice in a year. Admission to Management Programmes of IGNOU is done through OPENMAT Entrance test, held twice a year.
Educational Qualification: Any graduate (including Chartered Accountancy/Cost Accountancy/Company Secretaryship) with 50% marks for general category/45% for reserved category as per government of India rules. (In case of grading system, students should ensure that his/her CGPA should meet the eligibility percentage requirement).
Graduates are eligible to take the exam. For the January 2020 session, the exam was held in more than 100 cities. IGNOU’s MBA is one of the two management entrance exams conducted by NTA along with CMAT.

Exam pattern: The OPENMAT Entrance Exam consists of four tests (Sections). The exam will consist of four test- Test I will have General Awareness questions, Test II will have English Language, Test III will have Quantitative Aptitude questions and Test IV will have reasoning questions. The total number of questions for all the four test is 200. The three-hour entrance exam for OPENMAT the exam will be held on the mentioned date but from 09:30 AM to 12:30 PM

All these tests will be conducted in one session of 3 hours. The total number of questions for all the four tests is 200 and each question carries 1 mark. There is no negative marking for wrong answers.
Eligibility for IGNOU OPENMAT MBA Entrance Test 2020:
For MBA admissions, any graduate (including Chartered Accountancy/Cost Accountancy/Company Secretaryship) with 50 per cent marks can apply. For reserved category candidates, the minimum marks required are 45 per cent. There is no age bar for the same.
For BEd admissions, candidates need to have at least 50 per cent marks either in the Bachelor’s degree and/or in the Master’s degree in sciences/social sciences/commerce/humanity. Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55 per cent marks or any other qualification equivalent and those with NCTE recognition and trained in-service teachers in elementary school can apply too. For reserved category candidates, there is a relaxation of minimum marks by 5 per cent.

How To Apply for NTA IGNOU OPENMAT MBA Entrance Test 2020:
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the entrance exam to take admission in MBA and BEd courses in Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). The application process will begin from January 31 at the official websites nta.ac.in and ntaignou.nic.in. The application link will remain active until February 29.
