How To Apply for ISRO Recruitment for Various Posts 2023. The Indian Space Research Organization ISRO has issued a notification inviting applications to fill vacancies for like., scientist, engineer, Technician, Assistant posts in level 10 of pay matrix.
Candidates who have done their graduation in (i) Civil (ii) Electrical (iii) Refrigeration and Air Conditioning and (iv) Architecture engineering are eligible to apply.
They should be below 35 years of age ( below 40 years in case of SC/ST candidates and below 38 years for OBC candidates, against posts reserved for these categories). Ex-Serviceman and persons with disabilities (PWD) are eligible for age relaxation.
Candidates who want to apply should visit the Careers section of ISRO website at isro.gov.in. Applications will be received online only. Based on the academic performance and bio-data, initial screening will be conducted to shortlist candidates for taking-up written test.
The written test will be conducted as per the schedule at Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, New Delhi and Thiruvananthapuram.
The admit card for the test will be sent by email. The written test will have 80 objective type questions carrying equal marks. Based on the performance in the Written Test, candidates will be shortlisted for interview.
Written test score will not be considered for the final selection process. Final selection will be based on the performance in the Interview and those who secure minimum 60% marks in the interview will be eligible for consideration for empanelment in the selection panel, in the order of merit.
The answer keys of the written test will be published within three working days after test on the ISRO website. Objections can be raised within 3 days of publishing the answer keys.
Selected candidates will be paid minimum basic salary of Rs 56,100 per month. House Rent Allowance and Transport Allowance will be paid to those who are not availing departmental housing and transport facility. The employees will be governed by the National Pension System.
Other benefits include: medical facilities for self and dependants, subsidised canteen, transport allowance when official transport is not availed, limited housing facility for fresh entrants in lieu of HRA, Leave Travel Concession, Group Insurance, advance for construction of house etc.
Education Qualification:
- Nurse: Applicant should have passed SSLC/SSC exam and should have first class diploma of three years duration in Nursing recognized by State/Central Government (Nursing qualification should be registered with respective State Nursing Councils). (Preference shall be given to lady candidates).
- Lab Technician ‘A’: Applicant should have passed SSLC/SSC exam along with first class Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology of not less than two years duration, awarded by a Medical College or any Institute recognized by State/Central Government.
- Fireman ‘A’: Applicant should have passed SSLC/SSC or its equivalent examination. They should also satisfy the prescribed Physical fitness standards and Endurance Test standards.
The application for on-line registration will be hosted in the ISRO web-site. The site will be open from on 14th March 2023 to 1st May 2023. Please go through “How to Apply online?” and Detailed Advertisement before proceeding for online application. Do not click on BACK button of browser while filling the application form. You must have a valid email id before applying online.
The application form will be hosted on SAC web-site www.sac.gov.in or https://recruitment.sac.gov.in/OSAR. The application should be registered on-line only. Read General Conditions/Instructions carefully before filling the on-line application.
Follow instructions carefully while filling applications.
Enter correct data in the relevant columns as required. If the consolidated Mark sheet / Certificate specify CGPA / OGPA / CPA, convert the same in terms of equivalent percentage. Field marked with * is a mandatory field and requires to be filled.
The application form is divided in 4 parts:

- c. Experience
- d. Other Information
In the 4th Part Other Information, you are required to fill the characters shown in the image as security for the application. In case the image displayed is not clear, remove the temporary internet files of the browser and click the Regenerate Image button. A new image will be generated and you can proceed further by entering the characters of the image.
NOTE: Application can be submitted only once. Hence clicking the SUBMIT button is a critical step, as no corrections will be possible subsequently. So you should ensure once again that the information is correct before submitting
Upon registration / submitting application, applicants will be provided with a 14 digit Online Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference as this will be used for all future correspondence.
After registration, take two print-outs of the Application summary. For printing ensure that the computer is connected to a printer with A4 size paper and header and footer are removed from page setup. In case printer is not available, you can save the form and print it at your convenience.
Please note that site will not be open for printing after 17:00 hours of 1st May, 2023. Retain one print out of application summary and another copy is to be brought along with passport size photograph and documents supporting the data furnished in the application at the time of Written Test/Skill Test/ Personal Interview.
Upon on-line registration, applicants will be provided with an on-line Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference. The candidates are also advised to take a printout of the online application for future reference.
The applicant need not send any documents such as print out of online application, copies of certificates/mark lists in proof of educational qualification, work experience, age etc.
Note: In case of submission of duplicate/multiple applications by candidates, the last application submitted before the last date of submission of application shall be considered for further processing.
As and when required, Caste/Tribe Certificate, OBC Certificate, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PWBD) Certificate should be submitted in the prescribed format as given below:
