Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education has released the HP Class 10 Date Sheet 2023 or HPBOSE 10th Date Sheet 2023 for the HPBOSE 10th Class Board Examinations. Himachal Pradesh School Education Board has given exam notification for conduct of the annual Board examinations of regular / compartment / marks improvement / additional subjects of matriculation categories and all candidates of middle, matriculation categories of state open school will be conducted in November and December.

Practical Examinations for Class 12 will be conducted after the theory exams at students’ respective schools from April 23 to 30, 2023. Practical Examinations for Class 10 will be conducted after the theory exams at students’ respective schools from April 18 to 22, 2023. National Skill Qualifications Framework, NSQF practical will be conducted internally for both Class 10 and 12.
Himachal Pradesh Class 10 board exams: Class 10 exams will begin with Hindi paper. The major Class 10 board papers have been scheduled as follow. The HPBoSE has directed students not to carry calculators, watches with facilities of calculators, pagers, cell phones, and any electronic gadgets to the exams hall.
The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education Board had reduced the board exams syllabus for all the classes owing to the lack of offline classes for the students and incomplete syllabus. The exam centres have also been designated in a way to avoid overcrowding inside the exam halls.
Like the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) which has divided the entire syllabus into two parts, the HP board will conduct two terms and each will consist of 50 per cent of the total syllabus. The final result will be formed by the HP board on the basis of both term 1 and 2 results. The term 1 exam will have no merit list. It will only be at end of the final term that the result and merit list will be released. The board has also reduced the syllabus for class 10 by 30 per cent.

Candidates must the mention the correct question paper number against their responses in the answer sheet. Question paper and answer sheets will be distributed 15 minutes before the exam time. HPBOSE officials also clarified that the schools will have to conduct the practical exams on their own within the given time and it will not be releasing the questions papers for the practical papers.
Candidates must wear facemask along with all the staff appointed to conduct the examination. Candidates will have to appear at their center half an hour before the examination and they will be given admission in the examination hall only after hand washing with sanitizer or soap / water. And in the examination hall, seating arrangements will be made only after adopting proper social distancing.
