Indian Bank PO Mains Result, Indian Bank has released the result for the Main examination which was conducted for the recruitment of Probationary Officers (POs) through Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance (PGDBF) programme.
The result is available on the official website. Along with with the result, the bank has also released the cut off marks set for shortlisting candidates for the interview process which is the final round in the selection process.
The Main exam had two components – Objective questions and descriptive paper. The objective questions were from four sections – Reasoning and Computer Aptitude, General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness, English Language, and Data Analysis and Interpretation. While the objective questions carried 200 marks, the descriptive part was of 25 marks.
The bank has released both overall and sectional cut off. In order to qualify for the interview process, candidates needed to clear both sectional and overall cut off. Candidates can check the cut off details.
Candidates who have been shortlisted for the interview can check their venue detail and date and time for the interview from the bank’s official website. Total 4467 candidates were merit listed for the main exam out of which 3926 appeared for the exam. Based on the cut-off, 1500 candidates have been selected to appear in the interview process.
How to check Indian Bank PO Prelims result:
Indian Bank has released the result for the Main examination conducted for the recruitment of Probationary Officers (PO) through Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance Course. The names of candidates shortlisted for interview are available on the official website.
Total 1500 candidates have been selected for the interview which will be held at 8 different locations. Candidates who are selected after the interview process will be admitted to the one-year PGDBF programme offered at Indian Bank Manipal School of Banking (IBMSB).
Step 1) Log on to the official website indianbank.in
Step 2) On the homepage, click on ‘PO Mains result’ link
Step 3) Enter registration number and roll number in the space provided
Step 4) On submitting the same, the result page will be displayed on the screen
Step 5) Download and take a print out for further reference OR A pdf will open. Download the pdf and search for your roll number.
The interviews have been scheduled from December 27 to January 2. The date, time and venue detail for the interview has also been released along with the Main exam result.
The admit cards for the Interview process will be released on the official website on December 18. The admit card link will be made available on the career page of the bank. Candidates will be able to download the admit cards using their Roll Number/Registration number as username and date of birth as password.
Candidates who are placed in the final merit list will be admitted to a nine-month Course (Campus programme) at Indian Bank Manipal School of Banking, Bangalore followed by a three months internship at any of the Indian Bank Branches.
