ISRO YUVIKA Result 2025 or Young Scientist Programme Result 2025 has been released by the Indian Space Research Organization on its official website, isro.gov.in.
Students who have registered for the YUVIKA programme can check details and download the YUVIKA Result and selection list from the official website, isro.gov.in or jigyasa.iirs.gov.in.
Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has announced results cum first selection list for its young scientist programme for school children called Yuva Vigyani Karyakram or YUVIKA 2025.
Selected candidates have been asked to check their email address and login to the web portal and submit their acceptance within three days i.e., by 5:30 pm on April 13.
If response is not submitted by the cut-off date, the seat will be allotted to wait listed candidates and no further communication will be entertained.

According to the details published in the list, the final selection list of students (including OCI) will be published after the verification of relevant certificates.
The merit list has been prepared considering various components: Performance in Class 8 or last conducted exam, online quiz, rank in Olympiad or equivalent, winners of sports competition, Scouts and Guides, NCC, NSS members in last 3 years, and studying in village/rural schools located in Panchayat areas.

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is organising a special programme for school children called “YUva VIgyani KAryakram” (YUVIKA) or “Young Scientist Programme” to impart basic knowledge on space technology, space science and space applications to young students, especially for those from rural areas.
YUVIKA scheme has been launched with an aim of imparting basic knowledge on Space Technology, Space Science and Space Applications to the younger students.
The programme is also expected to encourage more students to pursue Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) based research or career.
YUVIKA 2nd Selection List 2025
The Indian Space Research Organisation, ISRO, will likely release the second list of students selected for the Yuva Vigyani Karyakram, YUVIKA 2025 on April 20, on its official website.
Once the list is out, students can then check the same on the official website, i.e., isro.gov.in. The official website reads, ‘Release of Second selection list (due to vacancy/non-confirmation in first selection list) on April 20’.
YUVIKA Result 2025 (YUVIKA 1st Selection List)
On April 10, ISRO released the first selection list for YUVIKA 2025. The first list had the names and details of 350 selected students.
As per the schedule, on May 14 the selected students will have to report at the respective ISRO centers. And, from May 15 to 26, the YUVIKA programme will take place.

- The programme aims to select 150 students across the country, who are studying in Class 11 as on March 1, 2025 in a school located within the territory of India
- The selection of participants will be on the basis of a few parameters, including marks obtained in Class 8 examination, and participation in science fairs (school/district/state and above level) organised by the school/district/ state/Central government authority in the last three years.
- The programme is aimed at creating awareness about the emerging trends in science and technology amongst the youngsters, who are the “future building blocks of our nation”, according to the Bengaluru-headquartered space agency.
- The programme is also expected to encourage more students to pursue science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) based careers and research work.
The YUVIKA 2025 residential programme will run for two weeks from May 16 to May 28. The schedule will include talks, experience-sharing by eminent scientists, experimental demonstration, facility and lab visits, exclusive sessions for discussions with experts, practical and feedback sessions.
The programme is planned to be held at five ISRO centres – Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), Thiruvananthapuram; U R Rao Satellite Centre (URSC), Bengaluru; Space Application Centre (SAC), Ahmedabad; National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC), Hyderabad and North-East Space Application Centre (NE-SAC), Shillong.
According to the official notification, The provisionally selected candidates are requested to upload the pdf copy of 8th Standard marks card and other relevant certificates by login in the Yuvika portal in ISRO official website.
