JNV Selection Test Schedule 2024 or JNVST Schedule 2024 will be released by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti on its official website, navodaya.gov.in for conduct of Navodaya Entrance Exam in all states headquarters across India.

NVS will release the Navodaya Entrance Exam date 2024. JNV Selection Test is a Navodaya Entrance Exam will be conducted every year for admission into Navodaya Schools.

Navodaya Vidyalaya Samithi, Ministry Human Resource Development, Department of School Education and Literacy has given the Activity Schedule in April for Conduct of JNV Selection Test for Class VI admissions to the Deputy Commissioner, NVS, All Regional Offices and all the Principals, JNVs.

Navodaya Vidyalaya, which has become a boon for rural students, has started nationwide notification for admission in the 2021-22 academic year. Applications are invited for admissions in the sixth class at the nationally renowned Navodaya Vidyalaya.

JNV class 6 admission: Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) have invited applications for admission to class 6 through JNV selection test across India. The application process has begun at the official website, navodaya.gov.in.

Through this exam, students will get admission to co-educational residential schools across India. JNVs are associated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

The JNV selection test or JNVST for admission to class 6 in JNVs for the academic session 2021-22 will be held at 11:30 am in one phase for all Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV).

The selection test will be of two-hour duration from 11:30 am to 01:30 pm and will have three sections with only objective type questions. There are 80 questions in all for 100 marks.

A single test booklet comprising of all the three sections will be given to each candidate. Additional time of 30 minutes will be allowed for differently-abled students.

The medium of instruction in JNVs is the mother tongue or regional language up to class 8 and thereafter English for mathematics and science and Hindi for social science. The result of the JNV selection test is expected to be announced.

At least 75 per cent of the seats in a district will be filled by candidates selected from rural areas of the district and the remaining seats will be filled from the urban areas of the district.

Education in JNVs are free, however, a sum of Rs.600 per month is collected from the students of classes 9 to 12 towards Vidyalaya Vikas Nidhi.

Even for these classes, students belonging to SC/ST categories, and all the girl students, and those from below poverty line (BPL) families are exempted from paying the fee.

Phase I Navodaya Entrance Exam Date: Conduct of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test in all JNVs (Summer, Winter & Extreme Winter bound JNVs) in first week of August.

The arrangement will be made to download the admit cards by the candidates from the website of NVS. Candidates may contact Principal of JNV concerned and collect Admit Cards, in case of difficulty.

Navodaya Entrance Exam date: Nearly 5 lakh more students have registered for admission to Navodaya Vidyalayas this year due to the introduction of the simplified one-page application form & online registration system, transforming education.

As many as 27 lakh aspirants have registered for Navodaya Vidyalayas admission test for VIth standard to be conducted on the above said date for Academic Year as compared to 22.5 lakh last year. This reflects the growing quest for Quality Education in rural India.

Navodaya Vidyalayas have around 45000 seats in 623 schools spread over 601 districts across States. Navodaya Vidyalayas provide free Quality Education with Boarding & Lodging for students from rural India.

Navodaya Vidyalayas students have been making impressive performance in various competitive exams like IIT-JEE, NEET, etc. Navodaya Vidyalayas have also produced alumnis in almost all fields, including Civil Servants, Engineers, Doctors, CAs, Entrepreneurs, etc

Navodaya Entrance exam admit cards: The admit card will be made available with effect from one month before conduct of exam on application portal which shall be downloaded free of cost by the candidates/parents before the conduct of JNVST

Navodaya Entrance exam Dates/Navodaya Entrance exam Date: Admission to JNVs is made at the level of Class VI on the basis of a test conducted on All India basis.

For admission of students in Class VI for academic session, entrance examination is scheduled to be held in January first week for summer bound, winter bound and extreme winter bound JNVs respectively.

While NVS is making all efforts to give adequate publicity to this examination, your support and cooperation in disseminating about NVS and the entrance examination would be of immense help.

I have advised the regional Deputy Commissioner to apprise you of the same personally. Kindly issue instructions to District officials including District Education Officers and Head Masters of all Primary Schools to give adequate publicity for this online application for the Navodaya Entrance examination and encourage the children to seek admission in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas in Class VI.

This will help in enrolling more students, particularly girls, SC, ST & minority children for admission to Class- VI for the ensumg Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST).

  1. Please make it confirm the applying start date which is mentioned in your entrance exam scheduled 22/10/2021 and last date of submission of application form date 30-11-2021 is correct.
