8th standard eligible students who have registered for the Kerala NMMS examination can check details and download the Admit Card from the web portal.
Department of General Education; Government of Kerala issued the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme Examination notification for Class 8 studying students on behalf of Kerala Education Department and DGEK invited the online applications from the eligible students for awarding of NMMS Scholarship.
Under the NMMS scheme, the students studying 8th Class during the year 2023 and VII Class Pass out for the year 2022-23 are eligible to write the Kerala NMMS Scholarship Examination.
The scholarship will be awarded to the selected students from class 9 and continues till class 12 at the rate of Rs.12000/- per annum.

The Kerala NMMS Exam 2023 is held every year to provide an annual scholarship amount of Rs 12,000 to financially disadvantaged students to help them continue their school education.
Kerala NMMS Exam Date 2023
The Kerala National Means-cum Merit Scholarship (NMMS) Examination 2023 will be held on December 11. The exam will be held in two shifts. The question paper will be available in four different languages: English, Malayalam, Tamil, and Kannada.

How to Download Kerala NMMS Admit Card 2023?

- Students need to visit the official website of Department of General Education; Government of Kerala, http://nmmse.kerala.gov.in/ in your device web browser.
- Once you reach the official website, click on the ‘NMMS’ tab which is displayed under ‘latest notification’ Section of the web page.
- After clicking on the NMMS link, it will be redirected new web page. Now, click on the Kerala NMMS Admit Card link and it will be redirected to a new web page.
- On the Admit Card downloading web page, Select Your District Name, Select your School/institute Name and Select Your Name from the drop down menus.
- After selecting the required details, click on the download button. Then, your Kerala NMMS Scholarship exam Admit Card will be downloaded.
- Open the Kerala NMMS Scholarship exam Admit Card and check details on it. Take the print out. That’s all. This Admit Card is entry pass of the examination hall.
- So, candidates must keep their Admit Card while you are going to the examination.
Kerala NMMS Exam Pattern
- The Kerala NMMS 2023 test will be divided into two 90-minute segments.
- Part I – Mental Ability Test (MAT) will be conducted from 10 am to 11:30 am and from 10 am to noon,
- Part II – Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) will be held from 1.30 pm to 3 pm and from 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm.
- Questions in the exam will be asked from classes 7 and 8.
The exam will be held in the offline mode featuring multiple choice questions. This means students will have to select one of the four answers provided. The exam will be held for 2 hours 30 minutes.
There will be a total of 180 questions of one mark each. Candidates whose household income does not exceed Rs 3.5 lakh are eligible to apply for the Kerala NMMS scholarship exam.
