KNRUHS Super Specialty Courses Counselling dates The first and final counselling for filling up of seats in DM and MCh courses in Telangana State for the year 2022-2023 will be held on 30 Aug at NIMS, Hyderabad. All the candidates who have completed PG Course(MD/MS/DNB) and qualifies in the Super Specialty Entrance Test 2023 held on 31 July are eligible to attend the counselling.
Kaloji Narayan Rao University of Health Sciences, Admission into Super Specialty Courses in Telangana for 2022-23. Counselling for admission into Super Specialty courses 2023 in Telangana will be held on 30th August, from 10.00 A.M. onwards at Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), Panjagutta, Hyderabad.
Eligibility:
Candidates who have completed PG course (MD/MS/DNB) and qualified in the SS ET – 2023 held on 31 July conducted by Dr. NTR UHS are eligible to attend counselling.
Seat Matrix:
Seat matrix for each Specialty will be displayed in the University website two days before the counseling.
Counseling Fee payable at Registration Counter:
All the candidates attending counseling shall pay a counseling fee of Rs.5000/- by way of a crossed Demand Draft drawn on ANY NATIONALISED BANK in favour of the Registrar, KNR University of Health Sciences Payable at Warangal. Provision is also made available to pay in cash in the bank counter provided in the counseling hall.
The candidates who acquired their Post Graduate Degree outside the State or Country/Abroad and got their certificates registered with Medical Council of India shall pay a verification fee of Rs.7,000/- for PG Degree certificates acquired Abroad and Rs.3,000/- for the PG Degrees acquired outside the State.
University Fee payable at Selection Counter:
All the selected candidates shall pay Rs.40,600/- for a seat in Government Medical Colleges and Rs.50,600/- for admission into Competent Authority Quota seat in Private Medical Colleges in the form of crossed demand draft drawn on ANY NATIONALISED BANK in favour of the Registrar, KNR University of Health Sciences payable at Warangal on the day of counseling. Provision is also made available to pay in cash in the bank counter in the counseling hall. The fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
The selected candidates shall submit their original certificates to the Selection Committee for verification and pay the University fees immediately.
Tuition Fee payable at College for the CQ seats:
All the candidates selected are required to pay the tuition fee as prescribed by the Government from time to time in the respective colleges. However University fee is to be paid on the day of counseling without fail.
Certificates to be submitted:
1. Hall Ticket – 2023.
2. Post Graduate Medical Degree certificate.
3. Marks Memos of PG Medical Degree.
4. MCI Registration (PG) certificate.
5. MBBS Degree certificate and Registration certificate.
6. Study certificates of MBBS & PG.
7. Rural service certificate or NOC from DME whichever is applicable.
8. Candidates who studied MBBS/PG in Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada shall submit Study/Bonafide certificates from 6th class to Intermediate/12th standard.
9. Candidates who studied MBBS in Christian Medical College (CMC), Dichpalli, shall submit Study/Bonafide certificates from 6th class to Intermediate/12th standard and study certificates from 1st MBBS to final MBBS.
10. Candidates obtained MBBS/PG Degree from outside the State of Telangana/ Andhra Pradesh, shall submit 10 years residence certificate of Father/Mother/Spouse issued by Competent Authority indicating years of residence and other relevant certificates if any in support of eligibility for UR seats as per Presidential order.
The selected candidates have to submit all the above said original certificates without fail. No custodian certificate issued by any institution will be considered. The selected candidates should submit the joining report to the respective college staff available in the counseling hall on the day of counseling. If any candidate fails to submit joining report, such seats will be considered as vacant due to not joining and will be filled immediately in the same counseling.
Submission of original certificates and payment of fee prescribed on the day of counseling is mandatory. No exemption will be granted. The selected candidates have to pay Rs.2,00,000/- towards discontinuation fee, if not reported and discontinued. Original certificates will not be returned if the candidate fails to remit the discontinuation fee. Therefore candidates are advised to opt the seat if really interested. Once option is exercised the original certificates will be taken over by the University and allotment will be issued.
The selected candidates who have not completed the prescribed compulsory Government service shall produce “No Objection Certificate” issued by the Director of Medical Education for admission into super specialty course.
Execution of Bond to be submitted at College:
i. The candidates selected shall execute a bond on a Non – Judicial stamp paper of worth Rs.100/- (Rupees one hundred only) as prescribed in Annexure-III of the Prospectus to ensure completion of the prescribed period of course. In the event of his/her leaving the studies during the course period he/she has to pay Rs.2,00,000/- (Rupees Two lakhs only) or as may be prescribed by Government, to KNR University of Health Sciences.
ii. In case of discontinuation of the course, he/she shall also refund the amount received as stipend up to the date, to the Government.
iii. The in-service candidates joining in the Second Post Graduate Degree course (Super- Specialty) should execute a bond on a non judicial stamp paper worth of Rs.100/- (Rupees one hundred only) as prescribed in the Annexure-V of the Prospectus to ensure completion of prescribed period of course.
In the event of his / her leaving the studies during the course period or in case of failure to serve the Government for a period of five years after completion of the course, he/she has to pay Rs. 50,00,000/- (Rupees fifty lakhs only) and shall also refund the amount received as a salary, up to the date, to the Government. If a candidate after choosing the course fails to pay the fee or after paying the fee fails to submit the bond, his/her Selection stands canceled automatically and the vacancy shall be notified.
iv. All the selected candidates shall render a bond for compulsory Government service by working in the public sector hospitals viz., Community Health Centers, Area Hospitals, District Hospitals, Teaching and Super-Specialty Hospitals, as the case may be, as Senior Resident for a period of one year after successful completion of their academic programme associated with the PG courses.
They shall be allotted to various hospitals by a Committee constituted for the purpose strictly as per the merit list issued by KNR University of Health Sciences at the end of the PG courses. An honorarium to the candidates shall be paid per month as per the existing government orders. No candidate shall be exempted from the service in Government Hospitals for the stipulated one year term. Each non-service candidate admitted to a Super Specialty Course shall execute a bond to serve the Government for a period of one year.
If they violate the bond condition either by not joining as Senior Resident or not completing the stipulated service period of one year within a maximum period of 18 months after successful completion of the course, a penalty amount of Rs.20,00,000/- (Rupees Twenty lakhs only) shall be levied”.
