LBS Centre for Science & Technology, Kerala State has released KSET 2025 or Kerala SET 2025 notification on its official website, lbsedp.lbscentre.in.

Candidates who are interested can check details and apply for the Kerala State Eligibility Test on its official web portal. The KSET exam date and admit card downloading dates will be notified later.

The Kerala SET is a mandatory examination for selecting Higher Secondary School Teachers and Non-Vocational Teachers in VHSE.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply through the official website of the LBS Center for Science and Technology.

Application Fee: The application fee is ₹1,000 for General/ OBC candidates and ₹500 for SC/ ST/differently abled candidates. The candidate must also pay processing charges and GST as applicable.

How to apply for Kerala SET 2025?

Candidates looking to apply need to visit the official website, lbscentre.kerala.gov.in. Candidates can follow the steps below to check and download the HTET Result.

  • Candidates must visit the official website of the LBS Centre for Science & Technology, Kerala lbscentre.kerala.gov.in, from the links shared above.
  • On the homepage, click on the link ‘KSET application form.’ You will be redirected to a new page of the Kerala State Eligibility Test, SET Exam.
  • Click on the online registration hyperlink.
  • Enter the required details and click the proceed button to create a login ID and password. Your login details will then be created.
  • Login in the application form with your details and fill out the application form with the required information and documents.
  • After filling the application form, click on the submit button, Then, your application form would be submitted successfully.
  • After successfully submitting the application form, you can make the fee payment with the proper payment gateway method.
  • After you complete the fee payment process, you can download the application form, print it, and preserve it for future reference.

The written test would be conducted in two phases: Paper 1 and Paper 2. The first paper is standard for all candidates and consists of questions on general knowledge and aptitude in teaching. However, Paper 2 would be a test based on the candidate’s subject of specialization at the postgraduate level.

The scheme of the Test is as follows: There will be two papers for the Kerala SET 2025. (A) Paper I: Paper I is common for all candidates.

It consists of two parts: Part (A) General Knowledge and Part (B) Aptitude in Teaching. (B) Paper II: Paper II shall be a test based on the candidate’s specialization at the Postgraduate (PG) Level.

Special Instructions for the Test: The candidates shall be present at the Examination Hall 30 minutes before the prescribed time for the commencement of the test.

The question paper will be given as a Question Booklet bearing a Question Booklet Number, Version of the Question Booklet (A/B) on the front page. The candidate shall mark the Booklet Number and Version of the Booklet correctly on the OMR Sheet.

Candidates are not permitted to use a calculator, logarithm table, mobile phone, or any other electronic equipment in the Examination Hall. Rough work/calculations can be made only on the blank sheet of the Question Booklet.

Kerala SET Answer Key 2025

Publication of Answer Keys: The answer keys for all subjects will be published on the LBS Centre’s official websites immediately after the examination.

Candidates’ complaints, if any, regarding the answer keys may be sent to the Director, LBS Centre, in writing within five calendar days from the date the keys were published.

The complaint should be accompanied by a DD for Rs. 300/—for each question challenged by the candidates. The DD should be drawn from any branch of a nationalized bank in favor of the Director, LBS Centre, payable at Thiruvananthapuram.

If the complaint or complaints regarding a question or questions are found genuine, the fee remitted for that question/questions will be refunded to the complainant. Complaints not accompanied by the prescribed fee and supporting documents will not be entertained.

The complaints received will be placed before a panel of experts constituted by the Director of the LBS Centre, and the experts’ decision will be final. Complaints received after five calendar days from the date of publication of answer keys will not be entertained.

Kerala SET Answer Sheet 2025

A separate Answer sheet (OMR Answer Sheet) will be given to mark responses for each paper. A specimen copy of the OMR Answer sheet is attached. Only a blue/black ink ballpoint pen shall be used to mark the OMR answer sheet.

Each answer sheet has a unique printed BAR CODE that will be used as a secret code against which the evaluation takes place. If a candidate tampers, mutilates or damages the bar code, he/she will be disqualified, and his/her candidature will be canceled.

The answer sheet for such candidates will not be valued, and they will be debarred from appearing for the SET for two subsequent chances.

Candidates are warned that they should enter only the necessary information as required on the left part of the OMR answer sheet.

Any additional information which is not required and which may help to identify the candidate, that is made on any part of the OMR sheet, will disqualify the candidate and his candidature will be cancelled without any further intimation in this regard. Further, such candidates will be debarred from appearing for SET for two subsequent chances.

Facility shall be provided for issuing a carbon copy of the OMR sheet to the candidates. The invigilator in the examination hall shall detach the carbon copies of the OMR sheets on completion of each paper, and hand them over to the candidates.

Candidates can verify the same with the answer keys published subsequently. No complaints from candidates regarding valuation of answer sheets will be considered if any tampering with the entries in the carbon copy is detected.

Moreover, any tampering with the carbon copy will result in legal action against the candidate, which would debar them from appearing for SET in the future.

Kerala SET Result 2025

The details of marks and the eligibility status secured by the candidates appeared for SET will be published in the websites of the LBS Centre.

Those who are eligible to be declared successful must produce the required documents for verification and certificate issue.
