Maharashtra Degree Admission 2023 notification would be released by the Higher and Technical Education Board after declaration of HSC Results 2023. However, students wanting admissions in vocational courses, will have to appear for Maharashtra Common Entrance Test.
Maharashtra CET for Degree Admissions is under consideration. As per local media reports, Higher and Technical Education of Maharashtra, the decision on whether to take the FYDC CET for admission to traditional, non-professional degrees will be taken after Higher Secondary Certificate, HSC Results 2023 are released.
As per the reports, the FYDC CET will be mandatory for vocational education. However, whether to have it for Degree Admissions or not, is still being considered. Traditional degree courses are being considered for this CET. Students opting for vocational courses will have no other option but to sit for First Year Degree College CET after the HSC Results 2023 get announced.

- Students wanting admissions in vocational courses, will have to appear for Common Entrance Test.
In addition to this, students willing to opt for Polytechnic courses will not have to appear for CET after class 10. The start of the new academic year depends largely on when HSC Results get released. The UGC guidelines have already mandated new academic year to begin from October 1. And as of now, there is no official announcement as to when Maharashtra 12th Class Result 2023 will be released.
This year, Maharashtra Board has decided to hold a FYJC CET for 11th admissions as well. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 10th Class results were released based on an alternative evaluation method as the exams got cancelled.
