Mahatma Gandhi Jayanthi Elocution Competitions in TS Schools: The Gandhi Global Family & Gandhi Gyan Prathistan, Hyderabad is going to conducting a ceremony felicitating about 150 persons working towards Community Development and towards Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in various fields of community welfare following Gandhi’s ideology and striving for the Improvement in the lives of the people and improving the environment.
In this connection, Gandhi Global Family desired to conduct elocution competitions for High School students on Gandhian ideology and provide citation and prizes to the school children at District and State Level.
These elocution competitions would be conducted at various levels i.e School, Mandal District & State Level with the support from Telangana Social Studies Teachers Forum district-wise In-charges (as enclosed) and they would represent the winners at Mandal, District, and State Level competitions. They will provide a list of winners to the Gandhi Global Family for awards
In this regard, SCERT Telanga has given the instructions, Topics, and schedule for the smooth conduct of the Mahatma Gandhi Jayanthi Elocution Competitions at various levels on the occasion of 150 birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi Celebrations. In this connection, as a part of the ceremony, the Gandhi Global Family desired to conduct elocution competitions for High School students on Gandhian ideology and provide citation and prizes to the school children at District and State Level.
In this connection, vide reference 2 cited Telangana Social Studies Teachers Forum (TSSTF) came forward to conduct elocution competitions at School, Mandal District & State Level and provide a list of winners to the Gandhi Global Family for awards

A) Juniors – 6th and 7th classes:

Mahatma Gandhi Jayanthi Elocution Competitions Schedule:
a. Date: 13.09.2019 – School Level: Students from classes 6 to 10 in the school
b. Date: 18.09.2019 – Mandal Level: The first prize winner i.e. seniors and juniors to represent Mandal Level
c. Date: 21.09.2019 – District Level: First and second prize winners of juniors and seniors from each Mandal to attend District Level competition
d. Date: 25.09.2019 – State Level: First and second prize winners of juniors and seniors from each District to attend State Level competition
Therefore, all the DEOS are hereby informed to issue instructions to Headmasters of High Schools and MEOs for the conduct of elocution competitions with the support from Telangana Social Studies Teachers Forum district-wise In-charges (as enclosed) and to represent the winners at Mandal, District, and State Level competitions. The DEOs are requested to discuss the same with the Telangana Social Studies Teachers Forum for the smooth conduct of the competitions at various levels.
