NEET UG 2020 Online Application form correction Process window opens at ntaneet.nci.in and correction in online application form start from July 6. National Testing Agency (NTA) has re-opened the application correction windows for NEET-UG 2020.
National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the deadline to make corrections in application form of NEET UG exam. Earlier, the deadline wad July 15 which has been extended till July 20. Applicants can make corrections in particulars, choice of centre cities, photographs and signature in their application forms.
“Some of the candidates have uploaded Photograph/ Signature which are illegible or have uploaded Photographs with Mask; such candidates are advised to upload clear photograph/signature of desired specification (as detailed in Annexure – A) to avoid cancellation of their candidature,” NTA notice reads.
Candidates seeking to make corrections in their NEET UG application forms can visit the official portal – ntaneet.nic.in respectively on or before July 20, 2020. A notice regarding this decision has been uploaded on the NEET-UG official website.
In view of the COVID-19 outbreak, the agency had already postponed the NEET UG entrance examination. The examinations will now be conducted in the 2nd week of September 2020, at various centres spread across the country.
The NTA will conduct NEET UG exam will be held on September 13.
As per the official notice, the NEET UG 2020 will now be held on September 13, 2020. The NTA NEET 2020 will be held from 2 pm to 5 pm at various test centres across the country. Earlier, the NEET 2020 was scheduled to be held on July 26.
On-demand from various candidates, the NTA has also extended the last date to make correction in NEET-UG 2020 candidate particulars in the online application form including choice of centre cities. All the NEET 2020 aspirants can make a correction from July 4 to July 20, 2020. The candidates are advised to visit the website (ntaneet.nic.in) and verify their and make necessary corrections wherever required.
Moreover, the NEET 2020 candidates are requested to undertake the corrections very carefully as no further chance of correction will be provided to the candidates. The candidates and their parents are advised to keep visiting official websites of NTA (www.nta.ac.in) and (ntaneet.nic.in) for the latest updates.
Note: The NTA will make efforts to allot city of examination to the candidates in order of the choices now opted by them in their application form, subject to the availability of capacity in the desired city. However, due to administrative reasons, a different city may be allotted, and the decision of the NTA regarding allotment of centre city shall be final.
The NEET (UG) – 2020 will be conducted by NTA for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses and other undergraduate medical courses in approved/recognised Medical/Dental and other Colleges/ Institutes in India.
Admit card for NEET 2020: “The dates of downloading of Admit Cards indicating Roll Number and Centre of Examination will be displayed 15 days before the conduct of examination on the official websites of NTA (www.nta.ac.in) and NEET (UG) -2020 (ntaneet.nic.in),” read the official notice.
How to make changes in the NEET UG application form: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to allow correction in particulars of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2020 Application Form on NTA website. The candidates who have applied for the NTA NEET UG 2020 Examination in December 2019 visit the official website of the exam to make corrections, if any, in their application form.
Only minor changes will be allowed in the NEET-UG application form, as per the officials from NTA. Candidates can also make changes in the exam city allotted to them. Candidates, please note that window for minor corrections (name, father’s name, college name etc.) will open.
How to make changes in the NEET-UG 2020 Online Application:

c. Open application form, click on edit
d. Make changes, review and submit
As per the Schedule, The NEET-UG 2020 Admit Card is expected to be released on the NTA website, and the online examination is scheduled to be held on 13-09-2020. The NEET-UG 2020 exam centre and other details will be mentioned on the admit card of the candidates. The result of the NEET-UG 2020 is expected to be out by the first week of June 2020.
NEET UG 2020 Exam Pattern: The NEET (UG) 2020 shall consist of one question paper containing 180 multiple-choice questions (four options with the single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology). NEET (UG) – 2020 shall be conducted in 11 languages, including English and Hindi.
NEET UG is a common and uniform national eligibility-cum entrance test for admission to the undergraduate medical courses in all medical institutions including those governed under any other law. Thus, the admission to MBBS course in AIIMS, New Delhi, JIPMER and all AIIMS like institutions will also be made through NEET.
