The government has changed the MDM menu in all schools in Andhra Pradesh. CM has announced that students will be provided with one meal a day. Lunch is served to all.
Officials have received orders from the government that the new MDM Menu will be implemented in all schools after the Pongal holidays.
Henceforth, the students at MDM lunch will be served one type of cooking per day. The officials have already instructed all the officers at the Mandal level. Students will be served tasty meals.

All the District Educational Officers in the State are hereby informed that the mid-day Meal Scheme is being implemented in all the government/Local Body/ Aided. Model Schools/ NCLP/ Madarsas for the students studying in classes I to X in the State. As per the government orders, eggs have to be supplied thrice a week to all the students under the mid-day Meal Scheme.
The undersigned has been informed that in certain schools, eggs are not supplied thrice a week, and the menu is not being implemented.
Therefore, they are hereby instructed to see that the following menu should be implemented in all the schools under the Mid Day Meal Scheme, and eggs should be served thrice a week.
Further, all the District Educational Officers are instructed to ensure that MDM bills for the previous month are submitted to the Treasury Office by the 5th of every month and payment is made by the 10th of every month. Any slackness in implementing the Mid-Day Meal Scheme will be viewed seriously.
