Eligibility Criteria for NPCIL Apprentice Posts:
A. Educational Qualification: Candidates should have ITI certificate in relevant trade recognized by NCVT.
B. Age Limit: The minimum age of the applicants as on January 21 should not be below 16 years for all candidates and maximum age up to 24 years for General/EWS candidates.
Age Limit: a. Category-II Stipendiary Trainees (ST/TM) Operator – 18 to 24 years; b. Category-II Stipendiary Trainee (ST/TM) Maintainer – 18 to 24 years; c. Driver-cum-pump Operator-cum-Fireman – 18 to 25 years
Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprentice training under the apprentice Act, 1961 in any Central/State Government or Public Sector Undertaking or any Private organization are not eligible to apply.

The candidates will be shortlisted for training on the basis of marks obtained in their ITI standard/course. Candidates who will be selected for the post will have to produce a police verification certificate from the District Police Authority.
