As per the Telangana Govt Proceedings, the schools are running half day from March 5th. Officials informed that there will not be any holiday on Second Saturday and all the schools run as usual for half day on April 9th. All should know that, Second Saturday is working day in Half day Schools.
April 9 is Working Day for Schools. The second Saturday in April is not a school holiday, it’s Working Day. The Director of State School Education in this regard has once again issued clear instructions in 2017 through Pro Rc No 843 / Plg-1/2016 dated 07.04.2017. So, the second Saturday in April is Working Day for Schools.
The second Saturday is working day in half-day schools 2022 or Second Saturday is not a holiday in half-day schools 2020. All the District Educational Officers in the State are informed that in the proceedings read above, instructions were issued that all the Schools in the State shall run Half Day from 15.03.2017 to 23.04.2017. The second Saturday is working day in half-day Schools.
In view of the above, they are informed that there will not be any holiday on Second Saturday (08.04.2017) and all the School shall run as usual for half-day on 08.04.2017 also. They are requested to issue necessary instruction in the matter to all the Mandal Educational Officers and Head Masters in their respective districts. : Commissioner & Director of School Education.
