AP Police Recruitment 2024 or Andhra Pradesh Police Recruitment 2024 notification has been released by the State Level Police Recruitment Board, Andhra Pradesh for the recruitment of Sub Inspectors and Police Constables in the state. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online on the official website, https://slprb.ap.gov.in/.
The SLPRB Andhra Pradesh will conduct the recruitment process for filling up 315 (civil) men and women SI posts, 96 Reserve Sub-Inspector posts in Andhra Pradesh Special Police (APSP), 3,580 police constables (civil) men and women and 2,520 police constables in the APSP.
The preliminary exam for SI posts will be conducted on February 19 and for the Constable posts on January 22. Home guards will be given 15 per cent weightage in civil constables and 25 per cent in APSP constables.

(A) AP Police SI Recruitment: i) Application Fees: Candidates with the local candidature of Andhra Pradesh, belonging to OCs and BCs, Rs 600/-; SCs and STs, Rs 300/-. Those who intend to apply for both categories of posts, need to submit only one application form.
ii) Educational Qualification for SI posts: Degree or any other equivalent qualification. In the case of a candidate belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes, as on July 1, 2024, he/she must have passed the Intermediate or equivalent examination and should have studied degree.
Physical Measurement Test and Physical Efficiency Test: Candidates who qualify preliminary written test will appear for the Physical Measurement Test and Physical efficiency test
Events for Physical Efficiency Test:
(a) Civil Sub Inspectors
1. 1600 meters run and
2. One out of the two events of 100 meters run or long jump
These will be qualifying in nature.
(b) APSP Reserve Sub Inspectors: Candidates must qualify in all three events of the Physical Efficiency test

Final Selection: Civil Sub Inspectors: The final written examination Paper I and II are qualifying in nature. Paper III will be consisting of 200 marks and paper IV consisting of 200 marks, total 400 marks, will be taken into account for the final selection.
APSP Reserve Sub Inspectors: Based on their score in the Final written examination (Paper-III-100 marks, Paper-IV-100 marks, Total 200 marks) and Physical Efficiency Test (for 100 marks), totalling to 300 marks. The final written examination paper I and II are qualifying in nature.
(B) AP Police Constable Recruitment: Educational Qualification: Intermediate or its equivalent examination. In the case of a candidate belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribe, he/she must have passed SSC or its equivalent examination and should have studied Intermediate and appeared for the intermediate examinations of 1st year and 2nd year.
Physical Measurement Test and Physical Efficiency Test: Candidates who qualify preliminary written test will appear for the Physical Measurement Test and Physical efficiency test.
Events for Physical Efficiency Test:
(a) Civil Constables
1. 1600 meters run and
2. One out of the two events of 100 meters run or long jump
These will be qualifying in nature.
(b) APSP Constables
Candidates must qualify in all three events of the Physical Efficiency test

For the Post Code No. 25 SCT Police Constables(Communications):

inspiration with a minimum expansion of 4 cms.
(Women)
a) Height: Must not be less than 152.5 cms

NOTE: However, the candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes and Aboriginal tribes in the agency areas of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, and West Godavari districts should meet the following requirements:

iii) Colour blindness, squint or any morbid condition of the eye or lids of either eye shall be deemed to be a disqualification.
b) The candidate should possess sound health and be free from any bodily defect or infirmity which will render him unfit.
c) Candidates who have the following ailments or defects will not be considered for recruitment to any post specified in this rule
i) Physically handicapped: ii) Knocking-knees, pigeon chest, flat foot, Varicose veins, Hammertoes, fractured limbs, decayed teeth, stammering, hard of hearing and abnormal psychological behavior
NOTE: In order to prevent disappointment, candidates are advised to have themselves examined by a Civil Surgeon before applying for the examination to ensure that they meet the prescribed Physical and Medical Standards.
Fee Structure: A prescribed fee for OCs/BCs is Rs. 300/- (Rupees three hundred only) and for SCs/STs is Rs. 150/- (One Hundred Fifty only) towards Applications Processing and Examination.
Selection Procedure/Scheme: The Selection Procedure/Scheme of the Exam for Post Code Nos. 21, 22, 25, 53 & 54, will be as follows:
A) Preliminary Written Test: Candidates shall be required to appear for the Preliminary Written Test in one paper (three hours duration) for 200 marks (200 Questions). The syllabus for the Preliminary Written Test is given in Annexure-II (enclosed).
Intimation Letter: The candidates who qualify in the Preliminary Written Test will be informed of the dates for downloading the Intimation letter through the website recruitment.appolice.gov.in for appearing in the Physical Measurements Test (PMT)/ Physical Efficiency Test (PET) with details of Venue, Date and Time.
B) Physical Measurements Test (PMT): The candidate who qualifies in the Preliminary Written Test will be called for Physical Measurements Test. The Physical Standards are mentioned at para-12 above.
C) (i) Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for the postcode 21, 53 & 54 :
Candidates declared qualified as above shall be required to undergo the following tests and qualify as specified below:
