SPMVV RESET for M.Phil & PhD Programme, Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam, Tirupati has issued RESET 2017 Admission Notification on June 5, 2017, and the University invites prescribed applications from the eligible women candidates to appear for the entrance test for admission into M.Phil/PhD (Full and Part-time) programmes in the various disciplines.
Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam(SPMVV) provides disciplines leading to the award of M.Phil/PhD degree. Admissions are made in the concerned departments of the University College and are restricted to women candidates only. A candidate is eligible to register for M subject/discipline in which she has a Master’s degree.

Eligibility Criteria:
A. Eligibility Criteria for Ph.D.Programme:
i) A postgraduate degree of any recognized University, with second class with a minimum of 55% of marks and 50% for SC / ST and PHC candidates in the concerned subject. However, for research in Women’s Studies, a candidate with a postgraduate degree in any discipline is eligible.
ii) For part-time registration, the candidate should be a member of the staff of any recognized academic/ research/ professional/technical institution. The candidate should have a minimum work experience for a period of two years.
B. Eligibility Criteria for M.Phil. Programme:
1. The candidate should possess a postgraduate degree of the concerned/ related subject of any recognized University, with a second class with a minimum of 55% of marks and 50% in the case of SC/ST and PHC candidates. However, for research in Women’s Studies, a candidate with a postgraduate degree in any discipline is eligible.
2. For part-time registration, the candidate should be a member of the staff of any academic/ research/ professional/ technical institution. The candidate should have a minimum work experience for a period of two years.
How to Apply:
Application forms can be downloaded from the website (www.spmvv.ac.in). Filled in applications with a demand draft for Rs.1,650/- for General Students and Rs.1,100/- for SC/ST/PHC students towards registration fee drawn in favour of the Registrar, SPMVV, Tirupati should reach the Dean, Examinations, SPMVV, Tirupati- 517502 on or before “see below”. RESET-2017 will be conducted on “see below” at 10.30 a.m. in SPMVV, Tirupati.
Application without registration fee will be summarily rejected. RESET is common for both M.phil and PhD programmes in the concerned discipline. However, candidates applying for both M.Phil. and PhD should submit separate applications with the separate registration fee.
