Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad has opened the registration process for TS EAMCET 2021 examination on its official website. Students who want to apply for the Agriculture and Engineering courses in the university can now apply for the exam. Candidates who want to apply for agriculture, engineering and medical courses can do so by registering for the exam through the official TS EAMCET website.
As per the 2022 official notification, the TS EAMCET 2022 ranks will be allotted purely based on the performance (normalized marks) in the TS EAMCET examination 2022 and the 25% weightage for Intermediate marks in the calculation of TS EAMCE ranks 2022 has been waived off as a special case for the academic year 2022-23 similar to the TS EAMCET 2021.
TS EAMCET Course Details: TS EAMCET is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) for admission into the first year of the following undergraduate professional courses offered in the universities and private unaided and affiliated Professional colleges in the state of Telangana.

TS EAMCET 2021 Eligibility criteria: Educational qualification: For engineering, biotechnology, B Tech (dairy technology), B Tech (ag. engineering) and for 50 per cent seats in B Pharmacy, BTech (food technology (FT) courses.
Aspirants should have passed or appeared for the final year of intermediate examination (10+2 pattern) with mathematics, physics along with chemistry/biotechnology/biology as optional or related vocational courses in the fields of engineering and technology, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana/Andhra Pradesh along with bridge course or courses conducted by it or any other examination recognised as equivalent Or
Candidates should have passed or appeared at the final year of the diploma examination in engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana/Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana/AP.
For B Sc (Hons) agriculture/B Sc (Hons) horticulture/B Sc (forestry)/BV Sc & AH/ BF Sc and for remaining 50 per cent seats in B Tech (FT) courses
Aspirants should have passed or appeared for the final year of intermediate examination (10+2 pattern) or any examination recognised as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana/Andhra Pradesh with any two/three of the subjects indicated in the official notification.
For B Pharmacy course: Aspirants should have passed or appeared for the final year of the intermediate examination (10+2 pattern) with physics, chemistry and biology optionals, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana/Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognised by the university as equivalent thereto.
For Pharm D course: Aspirants should have passed or appeared for the final year of intermediate examination (10+2 pattern) with physics, chemistry and mathematics or biology optionals conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana/Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognised by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana/Andhra Pradesh as equivalent thereto or should have passed or appeared at the final year of the diploma examination in pharmacy course conducted by the Telangana/Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education and Training or any other examination.
Exam pattern: The exam will be held in online mode as per the syllabus of EAMCET. Engineering (E) exam will have 80 questions in Mathematics, and 40 questions each in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Agriculture and Medical (AM) paper shall have 80 questions in Biology, and 40 each in Physics and Chemistry. Both are of 3 hours. There will be MCQs with single option correct. Students get 1 mark for the correct answer. There is no negative marking.
The language of the exam: TS EAMCET will have bilingual papers. Candidates can either go for English and Telugu or English and Urdu, depending upon their medium of study.
Only those who get at least 25% marks qualify the exam. However, there is no set qualifying mark for SC/ST. Qualified candidates are ranked by awarding 75% weightage to normalized score of TS EAMCET and 25% to the relevant subject group in the qualifying exam.
What is the TS EAMCET Exam Pattern?
The Telangana EAMCET exam will be for three hours with a total weightage of 160 marks. The paper will comprise 160 questions of one mark each from three sections 80 questions from Mathematics/Biology, 40 questions from Physics, and 40 questions from Chemistry.
What is the minimum qualifying mark for TS EAMCET Admission?
Examinees will have to score a minimum of 25 per cent of total 160 marks to be eligible for TS EAMCET admission. However, there is no minimum qualifying mark for candidates belonging to SC/ST category.
