Telangana State Government has issued a order Today for institute an annual award in the memory of late Poet Dr. Dasarathi to be presented every year to an eminent literary personality with a cash award of Rs.1,01,116/- through the Department of Culture during the function organized on 22.07.2014 on the occasion of 89th birthday celebrations of Dr. Dasarathi Krishnamacharya, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana has announced.

ORDER:
In the reference first read above, during the function organized on 22.07.2014 on the occasion of 89th birthday celebrations of Dr. Dasarathi Krishnamacharya, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana has announced “to institute an annual award in the memory of late Poet Dr. Dasarathi to be presented every year to an eminent literary personality with a cash award of Rs.1,01,116/- through the Department of Culture.

1. Accordingly, the Director, Language and Culture, Telangana, Hyderabad has requested the Government to issue orders for the institution of annual award through the Department of Culture in the memory of late Poet Dr. Dasarathi Krishnamacharya, to be presented every year to an eminent literary personality with a cash award of Rs.1,01,116/-.
2. After careful examination of the matter, Government hereby permit the Director, Language and Culture to institute an annual Award in the memory of late Poet Dr. Dasarathi Krishnamacharya, to be presented every year to an eminent literary personality, with a cash award of Rs.1,01,116/- (Rupees one lakh one thousand one hundred and sixteen only).
3. The expenditure shall be debitable from the following Head of Account and the Director of Culture is authorized to draw the amount and incur the expenditure for the said purpose.
