TS SSA School Academic Action Plan and Activities: The State Project Director, SSA, Telangana State, Hyderabad has communicated minutes of the review meeting held on 17th & 18th April 2020 with AMOs and AAMOs at SPO and requested to implement a following plan of action during the year 2020-21.

  1. Summer camps: 27th April – 30th May 2015
    Basic skills in Telugu/Urdu, English, and maths, stories, songs, origami, fun with science, etc.,
  2. LEP- School Readiness: June 15th, July 30th, 2015
    Early Reading Early Maths (Pade Bharath, Bade Bharath)
  3. LEP- Class Readiness, 3R’s Programme: June 15th to 15th August 2015
    Revisit and Recapitulation of concepts, focus on reading, writing and simple arithmetic abilities.
  4. LEP- Continuation: Throughout the Year

12 components :
i) Attainment of standards set by SCERT
ii) Effective utilization of instructional time & change in classroom processes
iii) Conduct of SMC bi-monthly meetings
iv) Implementation of CCE
v) Appraisal of performance of teachers, HMs and the Institute
vi) Children talent search activities
vii) Conduct of school and innovative activities
viii) Conduct of READ programme
ix) Strengthening of School Leadership
x) Effective Monitoring
xi) Inclusion in Education
xii) Improvement of school ambiance.

Training/Orientation:
a) 5-day training to teachers handling classes I to V at Mandal: August/September 2015
Components:
   –  2-days training in Telugu, English.
   –  2-days training on Maths skills.
   –  1-day training on Gender and cleanliness.

b) 5-day training to teachers handling classes VI to VIII at the divisional level: August/September 2015.
   –  2-days training on Maths
   –  2-days training on English
   –  1-day training on Gender and cleanliness.

c) 2-day orientation to SCX HMs: August 2015.
   –  Strengthening of complex meetings. Monitoring of under schools
d) 2-day orientation to Dy.E.Os/MEOs: September 2015.
   –  SSA Activities Monitoring QMT
e) 2-day orientation to DLMTs/CRPs: September 2015.
   –  Quality Monitoring Tool

  1. Subject forums :
    a) School Complex Meetings July to December 2015 & February & March 2016
       –  8 in number; including MELAS.
       –  Readiness program.
       –  Followup of Mandal/divisional training.
    b) Special Monitoring: 2 times August to December 2015 (complex level) Complex level
    c) Special Monitoring: 2 times September and January 2015 (district) District level
    d) Research activities District Specific Studies Action Research: July to December 2015
    District Specific Studies at least (2) per district.
  2. District Specific Activities :
    a) Focus on the teaching-learning process, Utilization of TLM, Maintenance of pupil diary: 12th June 2015 to 23rd April 2016
    – Special teams will be constituted with the Dy.E.Os of four divisions, MEOs, School complex Headmasters and resource persons in association with DPO and Sectoral Officers with the guidance of the District Educational Officer, Warangal to monitor the adopted district-specific activities. Activities to be strengthened to initiate Quality Aspects :
TS SSA School Academic Action Plan and Activities

  1. School complex meetings:
    A one-day training will be conducted to the Headmasters of 212 school complexes in the district division wise for strengthening the monitoring at school complex level and to conduct the school complex meetings in a proper way and to develop the school complex as a resource center.
  2. Strengthening of MRCs:
    It is observed that MRCs are not up to the estimated level in functioning to achieve the quality among the students. Hence it is decided to conduct a workshop to all the 51 MEOs in the district in August 2015 to make aware of the academic activities and the role of MEOs and MRCs.

In view of the above all the Dy.E.Os, MEOs, Sectoral Officers, Assistant Sectoral Officers, School Complex Headmasters, DLMTs and CRPs in the district are requested to implement the activities proposed as per the action plan for the year 2015-16 and report compliance to the undersigned time to time.
