ORDER: In the circumstances reported by the Commissioner and Director of School Education, Telangana, Hyderabad, in the references 2nd read above, after careful examination of the matter, Government hereby accord permission to the Commissioner and Director of School Education, Telangana, Hyderabad, to engage the services of 11428 (Eleven Thousand, Four Hundred and Twenty Eight) Vidya Volunteers, in the existing vacancies and retirement and leave vacancies, from the month of June for the Academic Year 2018-18, subject to rationalization of the teachers, based on the enrolment of students. 2) The Commissioner and Director of School Education is requested to follow the same Guidelines as enclosed to the G.O. first read above scrupulously, in engaging the services of the Vidya Volunteers for the Academic Year, 2018-18.
3) The Commissioner & Director of School Education, Telangana, Hyderabad shall take necessary action in the matter accordingly.
4) This Order issues with the concurrence of the Finance (EBS.IV) Department vide their U.O.No.01/111/A1/EBS.IV/SE/2018, dt.12.04.2018.
VVs Salary/Honorarium:
Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has approved the proposal to increase the salary for Vidya Volunteers from 8,000 to 12,000.
1. Vidya Volunteers honorarium is Rs.8,000/- for Month 2016-2018

Vidya Volunteers honorarium is Rs.8,000/- for Month:
In pursuance of the Budget Release Orders and Administrative Sanction Orders issued by the Government in the reference 2nd and 3rd read above, the Director of School Education is pleased to sanction an amount of Rs.44,47,52,000/- (Rupees Forty four crores forty seven lakhs fifty two thousand only) i.e.,Rs.21,81,76,000/- (Rupees Twenty one crores eighty one lakhs seventy six thousand only) for Primary Schools and 22,65,76,000/- (Rupees Twenty two crores sixty five lakhs seventy six thousand only) for Secondary Schools to the District Educational Officers in the State towards payment of honorarium to the Vidya Volunteers engaged during the academic year 2015-16 as detailed below:
The Accounts Officer of this office is requested to obtain the concurrence of Director of Treasuries and Accounts, Telangana, Hyderabad and release the same to the Districts as detailed above.
The District Educational Officers in the State are requested to draw the amounts for the purpose it is sanctioned.
