TSPSC Group 4, Panchayat Raj Final Answer Keys are released on tspsc.gov.in. Telangana State Public Service Commission, TSPSC successfully conducted the TSPSC Group 4 Examination 2020 today. The state government is planning to fill 9,618 vacant Group 4 posts in various government departments in Telangana by a single notification. Posts will be filled under Group 4 are Junior Assistants, Junior Stenos, Typists, Accountants etc. In all the districts, the government hopes to fill these vacant posts in the offices of department heads as soon as possible due to administrative problems. The final decision on the notification can be taken as per the decision of the CM. Recently, Chief Secretary has conducted a review on the recruitment of Group 4 posts. Advice was sought from the Public Service Commission as well as other recruitment agencies in this regard.

The government has decided to fill 9,168 Group 4th services vacancies in the state in a single phase through the Telangana Public Service Commission. Group-4 category has the highest number of junior assistant posts. It is likely that the terms of service will be in line with the commonalities as appointments will be made simultaneously in relation to several government departments. At present the general rules at the time of recruitment are not the same for all the departments but the rules pertaining to the respective departments are also applicable as the employees join the duties after the completion of appointments by the departments. In this context, the government is focusing on the Common Service Rules … collecting details of regulations from all government departments.

The state government has given priority to local in the new zonal system. With this, 95 per cent of the jobs will be filled by locals. Locals will also get a share of 5 per cent of the posts in the open category. So, the majority are locals. As a result, locals will benefit more from employee promotions and other benefits. As soon as the Service Rules are finalized and the Finance Ministry approves the filling of Group-4 job vacancies, the government will also hand over the responsibilities to the recruiting agency with clear instructions from releasing the Govt Orders.

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years & Maximum 44* years. The age is reckoned as on 01/07/2022 (Rule- 12(1)(a)(v) of State and Subordinate Service Rules). Minimum Age is 18 years. Maximum Age is 44 years. The Upper Age limit will be relaxed as per Rules and will be calculated on the above lines. And The scale of Pay: 16400-49870/- in RPS-2015

Educational Qualification:

LD/Junior Steno (Postcode – 01, 08, 11 & 13): Must hold a Bachelors Degree of any University in India established or incorporated by OR under a Central Act, State Act OR Provisional Act OR an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission OR any equivalent qualification. Must have passed the Government Technical Examination in Type Writing by the Higher Grade in the relevant language and

Must have passed the Government Technical Examination in Shorthand by the higher grade in the relevant language. If however, persons who have passed the examination in Typewriting OR Shorthand by the higher grade are not available those who have passed the examination by the lower grade may be appointed. In the case of Telugu Typist the pass in the Typewriting examination shall be on the Typewriter with Government Standard Key Board.

Typist (Postcodes – 02, 05, 09 & 12): (i) Must hold a Bachelors Degree of any University in India established OR incorporated by OR under a Central Act, State Act OR Provisional Act OR an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission OR any equivalent qualification.

  • (ii) Must have passed the Government Technical Examination in Typewriting by the Higher Grade in Telugu on Government Standard Key Board.
  • Provided that if persons with the qualification prescribed in item.
  • (iii) above are not available candidates who have passed the above examination in Typewriting by Lower Grade if otherwise qualified be appointed.
  • Provided further that candidates who possess Typewriting qualification in English by Lower Grade besides the qualifications mentioned in items (ii) and (iii) above shall be given preference for appointment by direct recruitment.

If a sufficient number of candidates with Telugu Typewriting qualification are not available for the appointment as Typists candidates with English Typewriting qualification may be appointed subject to the condition that he/she should acquire Telugu Typewriting qualification within the period of probation on pain of postponement of increment without cumulative effect. In the case of Telugu Typist the pass in the Typewriting examination shall be on the Typewriter with Government Standard Key Board.

Junior Assistant (Postcodes – 03,04, 06, 07, 10, 14, 15 & 16): Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree of any University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, State Act or Provincial Act or an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission or any equivalent qualification

Application FEE: Each applicant must pay Rs. 200/- (Rupees two hundred only) towards Online Application Processing Fee. This apart, the applicants have to pay RS. 80/- (Rupees eighty only) towards Examination Fee. However, the following category of candidates belonging to Telangana State only is exempted from payment of Examination fee.

  • SC, ST, BC, PH, and Ex-servicemen.
  • Unemployed applicants in the age group of 18 to 44 years (They have to submit declaration at an appropriate time to the Commission that they are unemployed).
  • BC’s, SC’s and ST’s belonging to other states are not exempted from payment of Application processing Fee and Examination Fee and they are not entitled to any kind of reservation.

Exam Pattern:

The test will consist of two papers with Paper-I to have questions from general knowledge while Paper-II will test the secretarial abilities of the candidates. The selection of the candidates will be based on the merit secured by the candidates in the objective type examination.

The absence in any of the papers/papers will automatically render his/her candidature for disqualification. This apart, a proficiency test in computers will be also conducted for candidates who are picked up in the ratio of 1:2 (one post, two candidates) after the written examination. The candidates are required to qualify in the proficiency test for the purpose of selection.

“It is only a qualifying test and the marks secured by the candidates will not be counted for the purpose of selection,” the PSC notification read. Meanwhile, along with the Group-II services examination, the TSPSC would be conducting a common recruitment test for the vacancies of bill collectors in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation and in the Telangana State Road Transportation Corporation.

How to pay application fee and examination fee: The Fee mentioned at Para-I (6)(a) is to be paid online through SBI ePay duly following online instructions once the application form details are submitted by filling TSPSC ID, date of birth and other particulars. The fee once remitted, shall not be refunded or adjusted under any circumstances.

Failure to pay the examination fee, application fee, wherever applicable will entail total rejection of the application. The list of Banks providing service for the purpose of online remittance of fee is given in ANNEXURE – II. TSPSC Group 4 posts Final Anwer key & Results

How to Apply: Before applying for the posts, candidates shall register themselves as per the One Time Registration (OTR) through the Official Website of TSPSC. Those who have registered in OTR already shall apply by login to their profile using their TSPSC ID and Date of Birth as provided in OTR.

Exam Date: The Examination (Objective Type) is likely to be held on 07/10/2020 FN & AN. The Commission reserves the right to conduct the Examination either COMPUTER BASED RECRUITMENT TEST (CBRT) or OFFLINE OMR based Examination of objective type.

Candidates who qualify the examination would be called for verification of certificates. As per the official notification, minimum qualifying marks for Selection are for OCs 40%, BCs 35% SCs and STs 30%. Candidates would also be required to undergo a proficiency test. This test, however, is only for checking the capability of the candidates and the marks of the proficiency test would not be considered. 

Edit Option & Update for TSPSC Group 4 Application form Corrections: (Edit Option may be exercised only to correct if any mistake is made) The candidates who have applied for Group 4 are hereby informed that in recent recruitments it is observed that, the candidates are often committing mistakes in filling Biodata in their respective applications and requesting TSPSC for Biodata corrections in their respective PDF applications.

But it is not feasible for TSPSC to make corrections in the candidate’s respective applications, as it is the candidate’s responsibility to fill the application form correctly. The candidates to correct their wrongly entered data by way of giving Edit Option. Commission decided to give one chance to the candidates to correct their wrongly entered data in PDF application as a special case. In this regard, the candidates are directed to go through the following instructions.

Candidates are strictly informed that this Edit Option may be exercised only to correct if any mistake is made. No further opportunity will be available as Hall Tickets download service has to be activated and there will be no scope at all for any correction after 16/08/2020. Edit option may be exercised with utmost caution.

They should check their details and click the “submit” button only after ensuring that all the information was filled incorrectly. Once the submit button is clicked further changes are not allowed. Hence, the candidate should show utmost care while using Edit Option as this Data will be considered up to the declaration of results.
