Eligibility for WB Class 11 Admission
The Council has published the criteria of minimum percentage of marks in a subject, a student must obtain in Madhyamik Examination or some equivalent examination, in order to be eligible for taking up certain Science-based elective subjects [as mentioned below] in Class XI. WBCHSE released the eligibility criteria for class 11 of HS Course admission on July 20. It is as followed:
- To have Maths or Statistics as an elective, the candidate should have at least 45% in Maths.
- To have Biological Science as an elective, the candidate should have 45% in Life Science.
- To have Physics or Chemistry or both as elective, the candidate should have 45% in Physical Science.
- To have Geography as an elective, the candidate should have 45% in Geography.
- To have Computer Science as an elective, the candidate should have 45% in Mathematics
