West Bengal class 12 board examinations were cancelled by the state due to the COVID-19 situation. The state education department of West Bengal cancelled the examination after seeking the opinion of students, guardians, the general public about holding Board examinations.

West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education class 12 evaluation criteria will depend on the performance of the student in class 10, class 11, and class 12. 40:60 evaluation criteria have been considered by the board. 40 percent of the marks will be based on the best of four subjects from class 10. Similarly, the rest sixty percent of marks will be based on theory results of class 11, class 12, and other practical marks.
