ABC Programme: “Month of Quality Achievement” in September in TS Schools 2023. School Education Department, SCERT, Telangana has decided to celebrate September 2023 as “Month of Quality Achievement” (Saamarthyala Saadhana Maasotsvam). In this connection, Certain instructions and guidelines have been given for Celebrating September 2023 as “Month of Quality Achievement” (Saamarthyola Soadhana Maasotsvam)
ABC Programme i.e Attainment of Basic Competencies Program has been introduced in TS Schools from July month for Class 3rd to 8th. Detailed guidelines have been issued on implementation of Attainment of Basic Competencies – ABC (Moolalloki Veladam] Programme effectively for the children of classes 3rd to 8th in all the Government & Aided Schools in the Telangana State. Baseline Test papers have been prepared to assess the basic competencies of children in Reading, Writing (For Telugu, English) and four fundamental Mathematical operations.
Telangana School Education Department instructed to implement of Attainment of Basic Competencies Programme or ABC Programme for the students of Classes 3rd to 8th in all Government and Aided schools in the State for this Academic Year. In this connection, an ABC work book has been developed for attainment of basic competencies in English for the children of 3rd to 5th classes.
Attainment of basic competencies is must for all the learners. We all know that there is a huge gap between the targeted competencies and the achieved competencies by the learners as per the National Achievement survey (NAS) and ASER (Annual Status of Education Report) annual survey. This ABC English work book is prepared with a hope to bridge the gap. This work book contains basic fundamental skills of reading and writing of alphabet, words, sentences and passages.
This Asifabad ABC English work book helps the teachers for remedial teaching in English and the learners for attainment of basic competencies in English. We hope all the learners can attain the basic competencies in English and all the teachers can make use of this work book and add their own topics in addition to the given topics in this work book.
