AISSEE Exam Date 2025 for Sainik School Entrance Exam at exams.nta.ac.in

Sainik School Entrance Exam Date 2025 or AISSEE Exam Date 2025 announced on its web portal: https://exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE/. The Sainik School class 6th and 9th entrance exams will be conducted on April 5, 2025.

Candidates who applied for AISSEE 2025 can check the schedule by visiting the official website. The Class 6 exam will be held from 2 pm to 4:30 pm and the Class 9 exam will take place between 2 pm to 5 pm.

For admission to Sainik schools, there will be a written exam in 190 cities across the country with multiple-choice questions.

There will be a 150-minute paper for admission to class 6, which will be of 300 marks. This paper will have questions about language, mathematics, intelligence, and general knowledge.

Similarly, there will be a 180-minute exam for admission in class 9. This exam will ask questions related to subjects like mathematics, intelligence, English, general knowledge, and social science. The total marks for the exam will be 400.

Sainik School is a CBSE-affiliated English-medium residential school that prepares cadets to join the National Defence Academy, Indian Naval Academy, and other training academies for officers.

The Sainik School examination will be conducted in pen and paper format on OMR sheets. The Sainik School paper pattern will be multiple choice questions. The examination will be held in 180 cities across the country.

AISSEE Exam Date Highlights

• AISSEE will be conducted by NTA on 05-04-2025.
• According to the schedule, AISSEE for Class 6 students will be conducted from 2 PM to 4:30 PM and for Class 9, the exam will be conducted from 2 PM to 5 PM.
• NTA will conduct AISSEE through OMR answer sheets containing Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

Candidates can download their admit card form the official website. Students should check their name, roll, number, exam date and timing, examination centre, and other details on the admit cards. For any clarification or discrepancy, students can reach out to the NTA Help Desk or write to NTA at aissee@nta.ac.in. 

To qualify, students must score a minimum of 25% marks in each subject of the exam and a 40% aggregate in all subjects. No minimum marks are prescribed for students in the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe category. 

After qualifying, students will undergo admission criteria, ranks in merit lists, document verification before their final selection. The exam will be conducted in paper pen mode in 176 cities across India. 

NTA AISSEE Schedule

Eligibility:

To get admission in class 9th of Sainik Schools, the candidate must have passed the 8th class. Admissions in class 6 of new Sainik schools will also be done through this exam.

Girls will be admitted only based on seats available in class 9. Furthermore, class 6 students must be between 10 to 12 years old as of March 31, 2025. While class 9 students must be between 13 to 15 years old on March 31, 2025.

There are 33 Sainik Schools in India, with 38 new schools sanctioned in March last year.

Sainik School Entrance Exam Online Application Correction

• Candidates will be able to make corrections in any of the details submitted by them in their Exam Application Form online through the correction window at https://aissee.nta.nic.in, during the period when the correction window will be made available.
• The correction window would open on the third week of December.
• Also, candidates will also be able to replace the documents already uploaded with the correct documents, in case here has been an error in uploading.
• Earlier the correction window was scheduled to open on December 5 and close down on December 9, and the admit card release date was December 23, which has not been postponed as per the newly released notice.
• Candidates will have to check the official site for more related details on AISSEE.
