CCMN is Counselling Body for Admissions to NITs & CFTIs. CCMN Counselling 2023 or JAM Admission Counselling 2023 is a Centralized Counselling for M.Sc/MSc Tech Admission. CCMN 2023 is a common platform for candidates to apply for M.Sc./ M.Sc. (Tech.) admissions to NITs and CFTIs , based on their JAM score of year 2023.
For details, please refer the list of Participating Institutes. There will be online document verification process. For this purpose, after seat allotment, the candidates will be required to upload the needful documents. For all guidelines, the prospective candidates are advised to carefully read the information brochure and various other documents given in this website.
This year 20 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, and SLIET Longowal are participating for the CCMN counselling process. CCMN-2023 is being organized by Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur. In case of any query email us at ccmn2021help@mnit.ac.in.
CCMN is a central counseling process which would be conducted for students who have qualified in the Joint Admission Test (JAM) and want to join various M.Sc. courses in NITs and CFTIs with the JAM Score. For this, Jam 2023 passers will have to apply for CCMN Counselling 2023. The CCMN 2023 Counselling Announcement is currently out.
The CCMN counseling process is conducted by an NIT each year. Jaipur NIT is looking after counseling management responsibilities for the current year. Recently, the registration process has been started. A total of 20 institutes are participating in it. The total number of seats available is 1889.

This centralized system provides a common and convenient platform for online counselling wherein the candidates can fill in single online application from their homes and apply to all programmes in all the participating institutions to which they are eligible. The CCMN for centralized admission for PG (M.Sc./M.Sc.(Tech.)) programmes and since then has undergone several changes to make it more student-friendly and included newer institutions under its umbrella.
Various features such as online uploading of needful documents after seat allotment, withdrawal and willingness change etc. have been inherited from the previous years and thus, CCMN-2021 provides an enormously increased overall convenience for the candidates. Candidates are allowed to participate in the special rounds even if one has obtained a seat in one of the regular rounds. The prospective candidates are advised to carefully read the information brochure and various other documents given on CCMN website.
CCMN Eligibility Criteria 2023: In order to be eligible for admission to M.Sc. /M.Sc. (Tech.) programmes, the candidates must meet the following CCMN 2023 eligibility criteria:
- Candidates are required to have a valid JAM 2023 score.
- Candidates need a qualifying degree in their particular field of study as set out by the PI with 6.5 CGPA or 60% for Gen, EWS, and OBC, and 6.0 CGPA or 55% for SC, ST, and PwD.
- In case, the result of the qualifying degree is not available yet, provisional admission will be allowed provided the above minimum academic requirements are met latest by September 30.
- For some of the programmes in a few participating institutes, special eligibility criteria will be applicable. Candidates are urged to make sure that they fulfil special requirements before choosing these programmes at the time of choice filling.
CCMN Application Form 2023
Malviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur has released the CCMN 2023 application form on June 8. Candidates can submit application forms until June 28. Apart from filling out the required fields on the application, candidates will also have to pay a non-refundable registration fee to complete the application satisfactorily.
Documents to keep ready for CCMN Application Form 2023: Candidates must keep the following documents handy before filling the CCMN application form.

Steps to fill CCMN Application Form 2023: Candidates should follow the below-given steps to fill out their CCMN 2023 application form without hassle
- Visit the CCMN official website: ccmn.admissions.nic.in.
- Click on the “Online Registration and Choice Filling button.”
- As a new candidate, you will have to register for the CCMN counselling 2023 procedure from scratch.
- Enter your JAM 2023 details: JAM registration number, your name, exam year, your JAM score.
- Type in your password and submit the CCMN registration form.
- You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number.
- Permanent Identifier(PID) will be sent to your registered email.
- Next log into the CCMN official’s website and fill out the rest of the details.
- Submit your CCMN 2023 application form.
CCMN 2021 Application Fee: The application form is considered valid only after the successful payment of the CCMN registration fee.

CCMN Merit List 2023: Merit list will be prepared according to what is called the “common percentile” attained by the candidate. This common percentile will be worked out on the basis of candidates’ JAM score for the year 2023. In the event of two or more candidates with the same common percentile, the tie will be resolved as per the inter-se-merit of candidates, following the below-mentioned criteria.
- The first preference will be given to the candidate with a higher JAM 2023 Score.
- In the event that both candidates have the same JAM score, older candidates will be the given preference.
- In case the candidates have the same common percentile, JAM score, and date of birth, the rank will be decided based on random number generation. Candidates with lower random numbers generated will be the given preference.
CCMN Counselling Process 2023 of Regular Rounds consists of three stages:

Stage One: (A) CCMN Application Form 2023 – Online Registration and Payment of Registration Fee. To participate in the CCMN 2023 counselling process, all eligible candidates must first register themselves through an online registration process during the specified period. The registration fee can be paid using online mode. All candidates must carefully enter their correct personal details, academic credentials, bank details, and other information during online registration.
(B) CCMN Choice Filling 2023 – Choice Filling and Locking: After successful registration, the candidates will be able to fill and lock their choices of programmesin order of their preference from the list of eligible programmes offered by various PIs appearing in their respective CCMN-2023 login. Candidates must take print copy of their registration form, which contains the locked choices and terms and conditions. This print copy has to be signed and submitted by the candidate at the time of final reporting at the finally allotted Institute.
Stage Two: CCMN Counselling 2023 – Three Regular Rounds of Counselling: Three rounds of seat allotment and document verification will be conducted, which will be followed by physical reporting at the finally allotted institute.
(A) CCMN Seat Allotment 2023: Eligible candidates for seat allotment: Candidates who have registered for CCMN 2023, paid registration fee and filled & saved choices. Seat Allotment All the available seats will be considered for allotment. The choices submitted by the candidates during registration will be processed and a seat will be allotted based on the merit, as per the rules of allotment. The allotment result will be declared on the CCMN-2023 website and candidates will be able to download their Provisional Seat Allotment Letter (PSAL) from their CCMN-2023 login after depositing the Seat Acceptance Fee.
(B) CCMN Seat Acceptance Fee 2023 – Payment of Seat Acceptance Fee: When a seat is allotted to the candidate, he/she has to pay the Seat Acceptance Fee through online mode. Proof of payment of Seat Acceptance Fee has to be produced by the candidate at the time of reporting at the finally allotted institute. Only after payment of seat acceptance fee, the candidate will be able to download the Provisional Seat Allotment Letter (PSAL), upload the documents and submit willingness online.
(C) Online Document Uploading: On allotment of a seat and payment of seat acceptance fee, the candidate will have to upload the required documents through their login for online verification. Please note that the option of document uploading will be enabled only after payment of seat acceptance fee.
(D) Online Submission of Willingness: On allotment of a seat and payment of seat acceptance fee, the candidates are required to exercise one of the following willingness online through their login: i). Float, if they wish to be considered in the next round for all of their better preferred choices (i.e. across the institutes). ii). Slide, if they wish to be considered in the next round for their better preferred choices only within the institute allotted to them. iii). Freeze, if they are satisfied with the currently allotted seat and not interested in their better preferred choices in the subsequent round(s).
(E) Online Document Verification: The document verification will be done by the verifying officer of the respective allotted institute only in the online mode.
Stage Three: Issue of Online Document Verification Certificate (ODVC): As an outcome of online verification of documents, an ODVC will be generated, which will be available for download in the candidate’s login. The ODVC will indicate the personal details of the candidate, details of the institute and programme allotted, details of seat acceptance fee, the willingness (Float or Slide or Freeze) exercised by the candidate for subsequent rounds of allotment, and STATUS of document verification. The candidate should check all the entries in the ODVC and download it for producing the signed copy of the same at the time of final reporting at the finally allotted institute.
