The National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce the exam dates for the Common University Entrance Test UG (CUET UG) on its official website, https://cuet.samarth.ac.in/. The registration process for CUCET ended on May 31 and the exam is like to be held in May.
Candidates who have registered for the UG entrance examination can check the CUET UG Exam Date 2023 details and download the exam schedule from the official website. Nearly 10 lakh students have applied for the CUET making it one of the biggest exams in India, second only to NEET 2023.
A total of 44 central universities, 12 state universities, 11 deemed universities, and 19 private universities have applied for participating in the first edition of CUET for UG admissions to the 2023 academic session.
The CUET score will be used for admission to all central universities including Delhi University, Jamia Millia Islamia, and Jawaharlal Nehru University, Aligarh Muslim University, among others. It can also be used for admission to private and deemed to be universities. Many top colleges including Jamia Hamdard, TISS have shown interest in enrolling students through CUET.

NTA will be conducting the CUET UG for admission to Undergraduate courses in various participating colleges. NTA launched the CUET exam the last year for UG and PG admissions. Students who qualify Class 12th will be required to register for CUET UG and appear for the exam as per their subjects.
Various educational institutes including central universities like Delhi University grant admission to various UG courses on the basis of CUET scores. Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) phase 2 exam will conduct in August 2023.
The second phase of CUET UG will organise for students who have opted for Physics, Chemistry or Biology subjects. The CUET UG exam paper will consist of 140 objective type questions. The entrance exam is offered in 13 languages i.e., Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odiya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.

The 3:15 hours long exam will be held in two shifts. The first shift will be held from 9 am to 12:15 while the other from 3 PM to 6:45 PM.

This is the first time that CUET will be conducted and it will be held for over 300 undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The CUCET-UG exam will comprise two parts -Part A will have 25 multiple choice questions from English, Numerical Aptitude/Data Interpretation, Analytical Skills, Reasoning, and General Awareness, while Part B will have 75 questions from subject-specific topics.
The medium of question papers for all the examinations shall be English other than the language course and the duration of the exam will be 2 hours. Each question would carry four marks for the correct answers while there will be a deduction of one mark for every wrong answer.
The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) will provide a common platform and equal opportunities to candidates across the country, especially those from rural and other remote areas and help establish better connect with the Universities.
A single examination will enable the Candidates to cover a wide outreach and be part of the admissions process to various Central Universities.
CUET UG Exam Pattern
The CUET exam paper will be divided into three sections. The examination will be held in two slots and the candidates may take a maximum of nine test subjects.
