- A committee constituted at the circle level consisting of Postal Officials and renowned Philatelists would evaluate the Project work on Philately submitted by the candidate.

What is the Postal Scholarship Exam Pattern?
Deen Dayal Sparsh Yojana competitive examination will be conducted The first step involves a screening test. In the second phase there work.
The screening test consists of 50 multiple choice questions from in two phases. will be project the subjects of General Knowledge, Stamps, History, Sports, Science and Current Affairs.
Students who pass this will have to do the second phase of the project. In this, students have to choose any subject in the categories of animals, birds, places, flowers, music and complete the project work at home.

The awardees will be asked to open Joint account with parents in India Post Payment Bank or Post Office Savings Bank in a branch, which has a core banking facility.
Each Postal Circle will select the awardees and hand over the list of beneficiaries to IPPB/POSB for payment of scholarship.
IPPB/ POSB will ensure that the scholarship is paid to awardees on a quarterly basis (Rs. 1500/- each quarter) after getting the list from each Circle.

Selected scholars are awarded a scholarship of Rs. 6,000 per year. The scholarship is paid in two installments, of Rs. 3,000 each.
