The century birth anniversary of People’s poet Kaloji Narayana Rao was officially celebrated at all government offices, schools and colleges and Telangana University in a grand way on 09-09-2014
The Telangana State government. It is very glad indeed that the new Telangana government is remembering the services of pioneers of the region by officially celebrating their birth and death anniversary. Lives of Kaloji should be an inspiration to youngsters and the contribution of Kaloji as poet, freedom fighter and as a political activist. “Every body should draw inspiration from Kaloji, who had courage to speak truth and fight against in justice. He was a fighter who had raised voice against injustice irrespective of caste, creed and religion. He fought against the evils plaguing the society. However, he also raised voice in support of Telangana and ispired the people of region to fight for a separate state.” the officials recalled on this day.
Rich tributes were paid people’s poet Kaloji across the Warangal district on Tuesday marking the poet’s birth centenary celebrations. Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao siad in Warangal on that day a university would be named after Kaloji Narayana Rao to carry forward his ideals and he said that Kaloji never compromised. He was defiant stood for common man. This government runs on the ideals of Kaloji.
Telangana Bhasha Dinotsavam
Kaloji Foundation president Nagill Rama Sastry wanted that poet’s birth anniversary celebrated as ‘Telangana Bhasha Dinotsavam’. In this subject on this day CM KCR garu has announced that the birth annivarsary of people’s poet Padma Vibhushan Kaloji Narayana Rao would be celebrated as ‘Telangana State Dialect Day’. In a similar manner he said a university would be named after the poet; an award in honour of Kaloji would be constituted, while conceding to the requests of Rama Sastry.
In this connection the Telangana State government has issued government order. 67 on 10-09-2014.In this regarding Kaloji Birth Anniversary has been declared as Telangana State Dialect Day (Telangana Bhasha Dinotsavam) by the Telangana government
