NEET MDS Highlights
- The National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will reopen the registration window for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test MDS exam 2022.
- The registration process will begin on March 21 at 3 pm and will conclude on March 30, 11:55 pm.

Steps to complete the NEET MDS Registration 2022

- Fill the registration form
Fill in all the requisite information in the registration form for obtaining user id and password.
- Once again Login the Web Page
Using the login credentials sent to candidates’ email address and phone number, log in to the account.
- Enter necessary details
Provide the necessary details of the qualifying examination, personal information, exam centre preference and upload the required documents.
- Pay the Exam Fee
After filled in application form, pay the examination fee with using of proper payment method and click on the submit button.

About the NEET MDS exam: The NEET MDS is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination for admission to various PG MDS Courses under the Dentists Act, 1948 (amended from time to time). Further, no state government/private dental college/universities including the state of Jammu and Kashmir shall be conducting any separate entrance exam for admission to their MDS courses.
Exam pattern of NEET: NEET is a three-hour long exam that includes three sections – physics, chemistry, and biology. Of the total 180 questions, 90 would be from biology and 45 each from physics and chemistry. The preparation syllabus includes the whole of Class 11 and 12 standard NCERT textbooks in the respective subjects. Every correct answer would fetch you plus four marks and every incorrect answer results in a negative mark. Questions that are not attempted do not have any penalty marks. So, choose your battles wisely, if you do not know a question for sure, do not mark it.
Syllabus: the syllabus for the exam shall be that of BDS standard and shall cover all the subjects/syllabus taught during the BDS course as prescribed in the DCI Revised BDS course regulations, 2007 as amended from time to time. The examination shall be a multiple choice questions test delivered using computers network (CBT) as per scheme prescribed.
The exam comprises of 240 Multiple Choices, single correct response questions in English language only. Time allotted 3 hrs
There shall be a 25 percent negative marking for incorrect answers. No marks will be deducted for unattempted questions.
NEET-MDS is an eligibility-cum-ranking exam for admission to MDS courses under various universities and institutions across India. Admissions to AIIMS New Delhi, however, are not covered under the exam. Only those who have a BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) degree are eligible to apply for the entrance exam. The applicant also should have undergone a 12-month compulsory rotatory internship or practical training by March 31.
