How to apply for NEET MDS: The online application process for the Master in Dental Surgery (MDS 2020) examination has to be started. The candidates can apply online through the official website of the National Board of Examination (NBE), nbe.edu.in on or before October 31, 2020.
The MDS examination is scheduled to be conducted on December 20. NEET PG 2020 and NEET MDS 2020 will be held on a single day in a single session. The MCQ based examination will be conducted in computer-based mode. The application process is likely to begin in October, and the candidates have to apply online.
National Board of Examinations has started the registration process for NEET MDS 2020 from October 11, 2020. The registration will continue till October 31, 2020. The candidate for admission to the Master in Dental Surgery course, must possess are cognized degree of Bachelor in Dental Surgery awarded by a university or institute in India and registered with the State Dental Council and has obtained provisional or permanent registration and has undergone compulsory rotatory internship of a year in an approved/recognized dental college

About the NEET MDS exam:
The NEET MDS is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination for admission to various PG MDS Courses under the Dentists Act, 1948 (amended from time to time). Further, no state government/private dental college/universities including the state of Jammu and Kashmir shall be conducting any separate entrance exam for admission to their MDS courses for the academic session 2020-2021.
Exam pattern of NEET
NEET is a three-hour long exam that includes three sections – physics, chemistry, and biology. Of the total 180 questions, 90 would be from biology and 45 each from physics and chemistry. The preparation syllabus includes the whole of Class 11 and 12 standard NCERT textbooks in the respective subjects. Every correct answer would fetch you plus four marks and every incorrect answer results in a negative mark. Questions that are not attempted do not have any penalty marks. So, choose your battles wisely, if you do not know a question for sure, do not mark it.

The NEET MDS 2020 shall be held on a single day and single session only
Syllabus: the syllabus for the exam shall be that of BDS standard and shall cover all the subjects/syllabus taught during the BDS course as prescribed in the DCI Revised BDS course regulations, 2007 as amended from time to time
The examination shall be a multiple choice questions test delivered using computers network (CBT) as per scheme prescribed
The exam comprises of 240 Multiple Choices, single correct response questions in English language only. Time allotted 3 hrs
There shall be a 25 percent negative marking for incorrect answers. No marks will be deducted for unattempted questions.
