The NEET MDS results for all India quota seats have been declared. The merit list is available on the official website of National Board of Examinations (NBE). The MDS result was announced in January. NEET MDS is held for admission to Master in Dental Surgery course.
Candidates with Bachelor degree in Dental course are eligible to take this exam. The exam was notified in October 2019 and the exam was held on December 20.
The cut-off score for general category candidates, in NEET MDS 2020, is 286 out of 960. “Cut-off scores will be reviewed, as per Dental Council of India, Master of Dental Surgery Course (1st Amendment) Regulations, 2018 once the exact number of category-wise vacancies are made available to NBE by Dental Council of India,” said the NBE in the result notice.
The Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, will facilitate counselling on the 50 per cent All India Quota seats.
NEET MDS exam was held on a single day in a single session. Questions were asked from standard BDS syllabus. The exam was of 3 hours’ duration and was objective in nature. There were 240 Multiple Choice questions and each question carried 4 marks. NEET MDS score will be valid only for the current admission session.

- On the home page, click on the NEET-MDS link
- A new page will appear on the display screen
- On the web page, click on the link that reads, “NEE MDS 2020 results”
- NEET MDS 2020 result will appear on the display screen, scroll down and check your result

It may be noted that the merit position for All India 50% quota seats will be declared separately. The final merit list/category wise merit list for State quota seats will be generated by the States/UT as per their qualifying/eligibility criteria, applicable guidelines/Regulations & reservation policy.

- Go to the official website – https://nbe.edu.in/
- Click on the NEET MD section.
- A new page will open.
- Click on the results section flashing towards the left-hand side of the homepage.
- Enter your ID, password and security code.
- Download and take a print out of the results.
NEET MDS: NEET MDS is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination for various PG MDS courses. It is also a single-window entrance examination for MDS courses. No other entrance examination, either at state or institution level is valid for entry to MDS Courses as per the Dentists Act, 1948. NEET-MDS is a mandatory test for gaining admission to any Postgraduate Dental Courses for 2020 admission session.
Candidates in possession of BDS degree/Provisional BDS Pass Certificate from a Dental College/Institute duly recognized as per the provisions of the Indian Dental Council Act, possessing either a permanent or provisional registration certificate of BDS or equivalent qualification issued by the Dental Council of India / State Dental Council and have completed one year of internship or are likely to complete the same on or before 31st March 2020 may apply for NEET-MDS. National Board of Examinations (NBE) will be conducting the NEET-MDS 2020.
