These worksheets were prepared for readiness to continue the education of school-going children. SCERT Telangana has developed worksheets for students of classes 2 to 10. Level one 5th Class Worksheets as remedial material based on the previous year syllabus for the month of June and Level two Class 5 Worksheets on current year’s syllabus for the month of July.

In order to keep children engaged and ensure academic connect, SCERT Telangana developed 5th Class worksheets for all subjects and these were uploaded on TS SCERT website for use by the 5th Class students under the guidance of teachers at school and parents at home.
5th Class worksheets have been developed for two levels, Level one Class 5 worksheets were prepared based on the Learning Outcomes of 4th class. The first two weeks of Worksheets shall cover the concepts of lower classes, to bridge the gap of previous class and to facilitate smooth transition to the content of next higher class.
Level two Class 5 worksheets are based on the Learning Outcomes of the new 5th Class. They shall be made available from third / fourth week. The general design of the 5th Class worksheets of Level 2 cover subject-wise content mapped to the Learning Outcomes and competencies to be attained by the students.
The 5th Class textbooks are distributed by the Department to all the children and SCERT has uploaded textbooks of 5th Class and subjects on its website for easy access by the students and teachers. 5th Class worksheets have been developed for 4 weeks which can be used upto 6 weeks depending on the learning levels of the children. They may be utilized and further work sheets may be prepared by teachers as per the need.

Students, Parents and Teachers may download the TS SCERT 5th Class Worksheets from the official website of SCERT Telangana for practice by following these steps as below.

Candidates need to visit the official website of State council of Educational Research and Training Telangana, https://scert.telangana.gov.in/ in your device web browser.
- Click on Worksheets Link
Once you reach the TS SCERT website, click on the worksheets link on the home page for further chapters. For Level 1 worksheets, go through the Publications >> Our books >> Worksheets 2020-21.
- Go to Index Page
After clicking on that link, A Flip book will be opened with Left and Right arrow buttons to change pages as you want. Now go the Index page by changing the pages.
- Click on Class 5 Worksheets
Once you reach the Index page, click on the Class 5 worksheets on the class wise Worksheets List.
- Download Subject wise Class 5 worksheets

“Practice makes the man perfect”. Concepts discussed in the textbook is not sufficient to understand the point in a detailed manner. Some additional practices are also required to understand the context in the fullest extent. Workbooks are introducing to provide space to practice skills which were learnt in the textbook.
Each lesson in the textbook have different types of problems to make the students to understand application of mathematics in daily life situations. These problems are not sufficient to understand the concept. Teacher has to provide similar activities / write problems on the board and discuss with children to solve the problems.
For this purpose workbook are introduced. Students has to write answers in the space provided in the workbook by their own. Teacher may support where ever necessary. Introduction: Workbook usually covers important concepts and tasks related to syllabus. Workbooks are used for doing extra activities and concepts which students have already studied from textbook.
