Telangana state government opens the TG Overseas Scholarship Application 2025 process for SC, ST, Minority and BC students, offering up to 20 lakhs for selected countries.

The Overseas scholarship is open to applicants who meet the eligibility criteria and have a family income of less than five lakhs per year.

TG Overseas Scholarship Amount

The Overseas scholarship includes a grant of up to Rs 20 lakhs or as per the admission letter, whichever is lower, along with one-way economy airfare and visa charges.

TG Overseas Scholarship Eligibility

• Applicants must be under 35 and have secured a minimum of 60% in graduation.
• Income Criteria: Family Income should be less than five lakhs per Annum from all sources.
• Eligible countries are the USA, UK, Australia, Canada, Singapore, Germany, New Zealand, Japan, France, and South Korea.
• Scholarship Grant: Up to 20 lakhs or as per admission letter, whichever is less. One-way economic ticket and Visa charges.
• Only one child from a family is eligible.
• Students applying for the scholarship should have secured 60% marks or equivalent grades in foundation degree programs and eligible scores in GRE/ GMAT and English Proficiency Test as per GO.
• Students Only with COE/I20 and VISA only to apply for the Scheme.
• SC students are also required to have a qualifying score in the GRE (280 marks) or GMAT (550 marks), as well as English proficiency tests such as TOEFL (60 marks) and IELTS (6 grade).
• for ST students, 60% in Graduation and eligible score in GRE (260) / GMAT (500) / TOEFL (60)/ IELTS (6.0) / PTE (50)
• For PhD applicants, a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade in postgraduate courses in engineering, management, sciences, agriculture sciences, medicine, social sciences, and humanities is required.

• From GRE/GMAT,TOFEL/IELTS/PTE marks, it is mandatory to have any two of the above scores in order to come in the merit list, even though the universities where you are taking admission do not require them. See GO MS No 22 and GO MS No 66 for reference.

In that case, he/she should choose only one of the most preferred universities/institutes and provide the details of the same foreign university/institute.

12. Provide income details: The candidate must provide income details from all sources of his/her family members. The relevant nature of employment, such as salaried/self-employed/casual/others/unemployed, for each family member along with his/her name, may be filled in.
