TS Overseas Scholarship 2023 or Telangana Overseas Scholarship 2023 notification will be released by the Welfare Department on behalf of Telangana State Government on its Overseas Scholarship Selection website, telanganaepass.cgg.gov.in.

Government of Telangana is providing financial assistance or scholarship to meritorious students for pursuing higher studies in foreign universities. As of now, T Govt introduced three Overseas Vidya Nidhi (Overseas Scholarship) schemes for SC, ST, BC and Minority Students.

Overseas Scholarship Telangana

The Schemes were introduced in the name of TS Ambedkar overseas vidya Nidhi Scheme to SC, ST Students, TS Chief Minister’s Overseas Scholarship Scheme to Minorities and TS Mahatma Jyothiba Phule BC Overseas Vidya Nidhi Scheme to BC/EBC Students.

Telangana government would provide the TS Overseas Scholarships to all eligible SC, ST, BC and Minority Students as per the eligibility norms. So, TS Ambedkar overseas vidya Nidhi scheme is to help SC/ST students pursue higher education in foreign universities assistance of Rs.20 lakhs will be sanctioned to meritorious students under SC Development Department.

TS Chief Minister’s Overseas Scholarship Scheme for Minorities to help Minority students pursue higher education in foreign universities assistance of Rs.20 lakhs will be sanctioned to meritorious students under the Minority Development Department.

TS Mahatma Jyothiba Phule BC Overseas Vidya Nidhi is to help BC/EBC students pursue higher education in foreign universities assistance of Rs 20 lakhs will be sanctioned to meritorious students under Backward Classes Welfare (B) Department.

Telanganaepass.Cgg.Gov.in Overseas Scholarship or TS Overseas Scholarship is a boon for poor students who want to study abroad. Overseas Scholarship Scheme Fulfilling Student Dreams. It is applicable to SC, ST, BC, Minorities, EBC Students. Opportunity to study in ten (10) countries through this Scheme.

Scholarship of Rs.20 lakhs each will be provided under this scholarship. Everyone wants to study higher education abroad after completing engineering or degree. Those who cannot afford to fulfill that desire or who are discontinuing their studies there.

Overseas Scholarship is a scheme implemented by the Government of Telangana to encourage such people to study abroad. Education abroad is not available to poor students belonging to backward classes. Despite the desire and skill to pursue higher education, many are unable to afford or fulfill it.

The Telangana government is sending many such people abroad by air through the Overseas Scholarship Scheme. Offering 20 lakh scholarships to each and every one of them.

Financial Assurance for All Sections: As part of the implementation of the SC, ST sub-plan, Ambedkar Overseas Vidyanidhi scheme has been introduced for SC and ST students. The TOEFL score is 80, IELTS 6.5, GRE 280, and GMAT 550. It is applied to minority students under the name ‘Overseas Study Scheme for Minorities’.

It was later renamed the Chief Minister’s Overseas Scholarship Scheme for Minorities. In 2016, Mahatma Jyothibapule introduced the BC Overseas Vidyanidhi Scheme for BCs. A lump sum of Rs.20 lakh scholarship applied. In 2017, in addition to Rs.20 lakh, a flight ticket costs Rs.50000, GO was issued to pay the visa charges. In addition to PG, PhD courses are also offered.

Opportunity for ten countries: The government issued GO on November 9, 2017, making changes in the SC, ST, BC, Minority Overseas Education Scheme. Raised the income limit from Rs.2 lakh to Rs.3 lakh. Until then, it was possible to study only in the USA, UK, Australia, Canada and Singapore.

In addition, permission was granted to travel to Germany, New Zealand, Japan, France and South Korea. Reduced the TOEFL score to 60, IELTS 6.0, GRE 260 and GMAT 500. Telangana ePass Overseas Scholarship

The Telangana government offers a scholarship program for students who wish to pursue higher education abroad. The Telangana ePass Overseas Scholarship is designed to financially assist students who have been admitted to universities or colleges in foreign countries. TS Overseas Scholarships: A. TS SC, ST Students Overseas Scholarships will be sanctioned under the Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi Scheme. Application Submission and Online Registrations would be started every year for sanction of Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi Scholarships for SC, ST Students at Telangana ePass website

B. TS Minority Students Overseas Scholarships would be sanctioned under the Chief Minister’s Overseas Scholarship Scheme for Minorities. Application Submission and Online Registrations will be started every year for sanction of Chief Minister’s Overseas Scholarships for Minority Students at Telangana ePass web portal.

C. TS BC Students Overseas Scholarships would be sanctioned under the Mahatma Jyothiba Phule BC Overseas Vidya Nidhi Scheme for BC and EBC Students. Application Submission and Online Registrations will be started every year for sanction of Overseas Vidya Nidhi Scholarships for BC/EBC students at Telangana ePass Scholarship Services Portal.

• Mandatory Requirements: The Candidate shall not change the University/Course/research topic for which the scholarship has been sanctioned.
• 10% of overseas scholarships are reserved for Humanities, Economics, Accounts, Arts and Law students.
• He/ she should have a valid  TOEFL/IELTS  and  GRE/GMAT  with the following minimum scores. 1. TOEFL – 60; 2. IELTS – 6.0; 3. GRE – 260; 4. GMAT – 500
• The merit list generated with weightage of Degree marks – 60%; GRE/GMAT  – 20%; IELTS/ TOEFL – 20%
• The applicants to fill the educational qualification marks with secured marks along with total marks in the online application.
• The applicants will fill the correct details in the online application form, the applicants who give false details, their application will be rejected and action initiated against the individual.
• PhD Courses are also eligible under the scheme.
• Allocation of seats to BC students shall follow both Reservation and Merit
• (i) 5% of the Target for BCs reserved for EBCs.
• (ii) For income criteria, the income of the parents+ if an employed student only to be considered not family.
