APPSC has informed that the Departmental Tests will be conducted in Online mode with CBT (Computer Based Test) method and examinations will be held at District Head Quarters of Andhra Pradesh state.

The candidates are requested to opt District preferences to appear for the exam in addition to their working district at the time of submission of application. Candidates shall be adjusted in the district as per the preferences given or in the centres limits according to availability of systems & infrastructure.
AP Departmental Tests examinations (Objective & Conventional papers) are scheduled to be held as per the schedule in 117 venues across Andhra Pradesh for 172703 candidates in all papers.

How to download the AP Departmental Tests Exam Schedule?
The candidates shall download the AP Departmental Tests Exam Schedule along with the guidelines and instructions to the candidates and report one and half hour before the commencement of the test with proper ID proof in original for admission to the tests. Candidates who will be appearing the AP Departmental Exams can visit the official Website of Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission Website by entering web address https://psc.ap.gov.in in your device browser. The Official PSC AP web portal will be appeared.
- Click on Department Test Link
On the home page of PSC AP, search for the “Departmental Tests” link and click on it. Then, Department Test web page will appear in your device screen.
- Click on Time Table Link
Once your reach the Department Test web page, search for the time table link and click it. Then, AP Departmental Tests Time Table PDF will be opened in your device.
- Download Time Table
Open the downloaded time table, check exam details and take a print. Preserve it for future reference.
Download APPSC Department Tests Exam Schedule
All the Tests, except Language and Survey & Settlement Tests will be of Objective Type; the Language Tests and Survey & Settlement Tests will be of Conventional Type. The Objective Type is Computer Based Tests and Conventional Type is Offline Examinations. The timings of the Examinations are as follows:
Objective type Papers:
Forenoon session: 10.00 AM to 12.00 Noon
Afternoon session: 3.00 PM to 5.00 PM
Conventional type Papers:
Forenoon session: 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM
Afternoon session: 3.00 PM to 6.00 PM (For P.C.No.005 only 3.00 PM to 5.00 PM)
In view of the existing difficult conditions due to Covid-19, the unavailability of online examination centers and faced with an unexpectedly large number of candidates, Commission is compelled to allot candidates to places other than their districts.
While requesting candidates to bear with the Commission, it is informed that every care has been taken to allot them to centers nearer to their home districts and request made to APSRTC to run buses to and from all districts to provide them with hassle free transport.
Candidates may also rest assured that all safety precautions are being taken in view of the Covid-19 situation. For details and other necessary information, the candidates are instructed to go through the Notification carefully which is available on the Commission’s official web-site https://psc.ap.gov.in.
Applications are invited Online from the Employees of Andhra Pradesh State through the proforma made available on the Official WEBSITE of the Commission https://psc.ap.gov.in for Departmental Tests scheduled to be held as per the schedule at (13) District Head Quarters of Andhra Pradesh.
The Departmental Tests will be held in accordance with the AP Departmental Test Rules 1965 adopted vide G.O.Ms.No.191, General Administration (Ser.C) Department, Dt : 27-05-2016. The desirous candidates may apply Online Mode by satisfying themselves with the terms and conditions of the notification Department Test Rules, and subsequent amendments to the Rules made from time to time.
Hand written / Typed / Photostat copies / printed Application forms will not be accepted and such applications are liable for rejection. Examinations shall be conducted on Online mode in computer Based Test (CBT) method of examination.
