Students who have appeared or would be appearing in Class 12 with 45 % marks are eligible to apply. While Physics and Mathematics at the HSE level are mandatory, students can choose between Chemistry, Computer Science, Biotechnology or Biology.
The KEAM exam is held for admission in engineering courses only. For admission in medical and allied health science courses, the students have to appear for National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET). For architecture courses, the candidates have to pass the NATA exam.

The Engineering Entrance Examination will be held at selected venues in Taluk centres in Kerala and in New Delhi, Mumbai and Dubai (UAE), on the dates mentioned below as per Indian Standard Time (IST). (A) Paper I – 10.00 am to 12.30 pm – Physics and Chemistry AND (B) Paper II – 2.30 pm to 5.00 pm – Mathematics
Candidates applying for admission to B.Pharm Course have to write Paper-I (Physics & Chemistry) of the Engineering Entrance Examination.
Candidates who wish to appear for the examination outside Kerala can opt one more examination centre in Kerala as their second choice in addition to New Delhi, Mumbai and Dubai.
If any of the centres outside Kerala happens to be cancelled due to unforeseen reasons, the candidates shall have to appear for the examination at the centre of their choice in Kerala.
KEAM 2024 syllabus
The syllabus of KEAM 2024 has been prescribed by CEE. It has been provided in the KEAM 2024 prospectus, which is available on the official website. The syllabus is similar to the syllabus of Higher Secondary or equivalent examinations.
The candidates must follow the prescribed syllabus as it outlines the topics that will be covered in the examination. The CEE has also notified that questions in KEAM 2024 will not be based on NCERT textbooks or any other textbooks exclusively.
KEAM Application Fee
For engineering exam candidates will have to pay Rs.700/- and for architecture and medical and aligned field the fee is Rs.500/-. For both exams the fee is Rs.900/-. Candidates choosing ‘Dubai’ as examination centre will have to remit an additional fee of Rs.12,000.

KEAM admit card 2024: The admit card for the Kerala Engineering, Architecture and Medical and Pharmacy Courses (KEAM 2024) will be released after completion of application process.
All those candidates who had applied for the same can download their respective hall tickets from the official website. Candidates will be required to produce the printout of the admit card at the time of examination. No admit cards will be sent by post.
KEAM Exam Pattern: The two-and-half-hour exam consists of 120 questions in each paper. Each question carries four marks, and for every wrong answer, one mark is deducted.
