AP NMMS Beneficiaries Fresh & Renewal Registrations 2020 at NSP Portal for get a Scholarship. Students who have been selected for the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Examination (NMMS Exam) in November 2019 must register their details in the National Scholarship Portal (NSP Portal) by 31-10-2020 this year.
The Ministry of Education has stated that scholarships will never be granted to those who do not.
And every student who has been selected for the years November 2016, 2017, 2018 and has registered in the portal in the previous years and got the scholarship must renew it by 31-10-2020 this year.

AP NMMS Scholarship Registrations for Fresh and Renewal: As per the Proceedings Rc.No: 03/E2/2019 Dated: 04-09-2020, DGE AP has given instruction for Uploading information for National-means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS) fresh and renewal in application on NSP Furnishing of the percentage of previous class due to non-conduct of SSC examinations in 2020
NMMS Fresh Registration and NMMS Renewal Registration Instructions are issued regarding fresh registrations 9th class students of 2020-2021 academic year and for the renewal of Scholarships of the students that are passed SSC Public Examinations 2020, who will be joining their intermediate course in Government/Govt. Aided Junior Colleges for the academic year 2020-2021(First year Inter)
I. NMMS Scholarship Registrations for Freshers:
Just joined in 9th class : The information regarding the Scholarship shall be uploaded for the Students who are just joined in 9th class for the academic year 2020-21 for the sanction of Scholarships (freshers).
II. NMMS Scholarship Registrations for Renewals:
A. Just joined in their 10th class: The students who are sanctioned with NMMS Scholarship in their 9th class and now joined in their 10th class, the marks of their 8th class have to be uploaded as final examinations have not been conducted due COVID19 situation for 9th class.
B. Joining Intermediate courses: The students who have passed 10th class in SSC public examinations 2020 and will be joining Intermediate courses in Government/Govt. Aided Junior Colleges, the percentage of marks secured by them in their 9th class 2019-20 shall be the basis for renewal of scholarship as such their 9th class marks shall be uploaded.
In view of the above, Headmasters shall be instructed to issue the 9th class marks secured by students who have passed 10th class in SSC Public Examinations 2020 and were sanctioned with NMMS Scholarships in their 8th Class and drew their scholarship.
This will facilitate principals of Government/Govt. Aided Junior colleges to upload the information relating to percentage of marks for the purpose of renewal of Scholarship.

Aided Junior Colleges’.
Deadline for approval of details of students within the school is 31-10-2020 and 30-11-2020 for approval of details of students within the scope of the Department of Education.
Therefore, every selected student can register their details on the website and get a scholarship under any circumstances.
The Director of Government Examinations said that for further details, they should contact the office of the concerned District Education Officer immediately.
Government of India, Ministry of Education has sent a letter to Principal Secretary/Secretary (Education) (In-charge of Secondary Education), All States/UT Administrations for Online submission of proposals/ list of beneficiaries under National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS) and National Scheme of Incentive to Girls for Secondary Education (NSIGSE) of the Department of School Education & Literacy on National Scholarship Portal (NSP).
Submission of proposals/lists of beneficiaries under the Centrally Sponsored Schemes of the Department of School Education & Literacy viz. National Means cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS) and National Scheme of Incentive to Girls for Secondary Education (NSIGSE) on National Scholarship Portal.
In an effective DBT mode, the disbursement of scholarships through Aadhaar Payment Bridge (APB) ensures that benefits go to individuals bank accounts electronically, cutting down delays and avoiding the possibility of duplicate/bogus entries.
For making payment through APB directly into the bank accounts of the beneficiary students, aadhaar number should be seeded with bank account number of the student.
The DEOs will upload the information on NSP for all beneficiaries with Aadhaar seeded bank account details in their Districts after its verification. DEOs will submit the information to State Nodal Officers on-line over portal.
