National Scholarship Portal (NSP) Registrations Schedule 2020:
The Schedule of opening of National Scholarship Portal (NSP) for Academic Year-2020-2021
Time line for Online submission of applications for fresh as well as renewal/ Verification of registered proposals at institutions and DEOs under National Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme.
These dates for online submission of applications of NMMSS beneficiaries for the financial year 2020-2021 for fresh as well as renewal (fresh registrations and renewals) and Verification of registered proposals at institutions and DEOs level is see above (as per the above mentioned schedule).
Familiarize the Head Masters first and then the students i.e. NMMSS beneficiaries through Head Masters concerned in this regard immediately without fail and complete the said work in time. Otherwise the said beneficiaries will never get scholarship under NMMS Scheme and give compliance to this office. Regular report in this regard is requested.
At the time of verification of online submitted applications of NMMSS beneficiaries on NSP some of the institutions and District Educational Officers have verified the non-beneficiaries whose names are not found in list of NMMSS beneficiaries which was already communicated to you by this office.
Due to such kind of verification the number of verified candidates will exceed quota of the beneficiaries and genuine beneficiaries may lose the opportunity of getting scholarship as non-beneficiaries will get opportunity of getting scholarship in place beneficiaries which is highly irregular and injustice.
Take more care in the verification process for renewals as well as fresh on NSP to verify the beneficiaries only and either to reject the non-beneficiaries or to put them in defective mode which ever option is applicable and give strict instructions to the heads of the institutions to verify beneficiaries only and not to accept non-beneficiaries.
