State of Bank India (SBI) is expected to announce the prelims result for Junior Associates, a clerical cadre post, recruitment. The exam also referred to as the SBI clerk exam was held on June 22 and 23.
Postponed: State Bank of India has postponed the SBI clerk main examination 2021 due to the coronavirus disease outbreak in the country. The examination was scheduled to be conducted on July 31 (main exam may also get postponed.). The fresh date for declaration of preliminary exam result and conduct of the main exam will be announced later, on Bank’s website.
The bank has advised the candidates to visit the official website of SBI regularly to check the latest update about the examination. The main exam will have sections on general/ financial awareness, general English, quantitative aptitude, reasoning ability and computer aptitude. The exam will have 190 questions carrying 200 marks and candidates will have 2 hours and 40 minutes to answer them. Students will get separate timing for different sections.

The main exam is scheduled, tentatively, for July 31 is postponed. The SBI clerk prelims result on the basis of the main exam date, SBI clerk result will be declared soon on its web portal. As per the exam notice, the hall ticket or admit card for the main exam will be released in the 3rd week of July.
SBI Clerks Mains admit cards 2021: After releasing the result of the preliminary examination, the State Bank of India (SBI) has uploaded the admit card of the Mains examination for clerk posts. The Mains is going to be held in July.
The candidates who appeared for the preliminary exams can check their result on the official website of SBI- sbi.co.in. The link for download of the main exam call letter is available on the score sheet of the qualified applicants.
In the State Bank Of India, SBI Mains exam, the questions will be objective type, except for General English (bilingual). There will negative marking for each wrong answers of objective type questions, about 1/4th of the marks assigned to every objective type question will be deducted for every wrong answer.
The candidates were invited earlier to fill 8,653 vacant posts of Junior Associate (customer support and sales) in clerical cadre across India.

1. General/Financial Awareness: 50 Questions 50 Marks 35 minutes
2. General English: 40 Questions 40 Marks 35 minutes
3. Quantitative Aptitude: 50 Questions 50 Marks 45 minutes
4. Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude: 50 Questions 60 Marks 45 minutes
Total 190 Questions 200 Marsk 2 Hours 40 Minutes
How to download SBI Clerks Mains Admit Cards:
Follow the step given here to download your SBI admit card for Clerk mains exam:
- Go to the SBI Careers web portal : www.sbi.co.in/careers.
- In the latest notification section, look for ‘Recruitment of Junior Associates’.
- Click on the ‘Download Main exam Call letter’ link (you will be directed to a third party link hosted by IBPS).
- Enter the required details.
- Submit and take a print out of your call letter.
SBI Clerks Recruitment Exam Details:
The selection process will consist of an on-line test (preliminary and main examination) and test of specified opted local language. Phase-I Preliminary examination: Preliminary Examination (online) consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online. This test would be of 1-hour duration consisting of 3 sections.
There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th of the mark assigned for the question will be deducted for each wrong answer. No minimum qualifying marks for the individual subject as well as for aggregate (overall) are prescribed
Phase – II Main Examination: The structure of main examination (online objective type). The questions in objective tests, except for the test of General English, will be bilingual i.e., English and Hindi. There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the objective tests 1/4th of mark assigned for question will be deducted for each wrong answer.
