DOST Special Drive Admissions
Students are given another opportunity for admissions in degree colleges. ‘Dost’ has announced special drive dates for those who have not yet received admissions. Registration can be done from November 27 to December 3. The shortlist will be announced on December 5.
The Convenor of the Telangana State Degree Online Services (DOST) said that as part of the degree online admissions, a special phase counseling will be conducted from November 27 to the 3rd of December month.
Students who have not yet registered with DOST for admissions should register from the November 27th and attend the verification of certificates. Seats will be allocated on the 5th of December month to students who have been given web options as part of special drive counseling.
Students who have secured seats are required to report to the respective colleges from the 5th to the 8th of December month.
Eligibility for DOST Degree Admissions: Students who have already registered and not secured a seat, who have registered and are not given web options, and who have obtained a seat and have not confirmed college are eligible for this Special Phase Counseling.

TS DOST 2020 Results – The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has released the allotment results for the Degree Online Services of Telangana (DOST) on 15-10-2020. Candidates who have applied for the same can check their results from the Council’s official website.
The candidates who had registered for undergraduate, Telangana SBTET diploma courses admissions can check and download their allotment result. The process commenced on October 1, 2020, and concluded on October 10, 2020. Candidates should download the list using their details
DOST Instructions: All candidates who received seat allotment were instructed to reserve their seat through online self-reporting well in advance by paying Rs.500 or Rs.1,000 (as the case may be) in the DOST candidate login till October 15.
Phase II TS DOST Degree Admission Seats Allotment Update: DOST has allotted 60,539 new seats in the second phase on 01-10-2020. Of those who secured seats in the first phase and were given web options in the second tranche, 5,180 got better seats.
If you look until the second phase, Of the total 986 degree colleges in the state, Total 4,09,450 seats are vacant and now after seats allotment, 2,41,266 seats are vacant.
Of the 123 government degree colleges, 69,660 seats have been filled up in the first phase. In the second phase, 19,309 seats were filled.

Phase I TS DOST Degree Admission Seats Allotment Update: According to the TSCHE, a total of 76,173 females (53.90 per cent) and 65,167 males (46.10 per cent) were allotted seats this year against 65,058 females and 40,375 males last year.
Commerce stream recorded 53,327 (37.73 per cent) seat allotments followed by Physical Science 35,349 (25.01 per cent), Life Sciences 29,401 (20.80 per cent), Arts 17,508 (12.39 per cent), D.Pharmacy 217 (0.15 per cent) and others 5,538 (3.92 per cent).

This year the TS DOST application process has been conducted in three phases. The phase 1 registration process and web options process has been completed 24-08-2020 to 09-09-2020.
Present Status: Phase 1 Result – The second phase result would be released on September 28, 2020. Phase 2 online self-reporting would begin from September 28, 2020, and would end on October 2, 2020.
Remaining Phases: The phase 2 registration process and also web options would begin on September 21 and end on September 21. The phase 3 registration process would begin on September 28 and end on October 10, 2020.

For a total intake of 3.83 lakh seats, the phase I of Degree Online Services Telangana (DOST) saw allotment of only 1.05 lakh seats to students for admissions in various under-graduate courses in degree colleges across the State.

The students who got seat allotment need to report online only (Online self-reporting) by paying Rs 1,000 or Rs 500 as case may be and are not required to report to the college immediately. The student should report to the college only on 26.10.2020.
Students who fail to confirm the seat online will forego the seat in the respective phase and has to exercise the web options freshly. Registrations and web options for phase II will start from as per the schedule.
