- Brief teacher instructions are provided in each textbook to determine the best way to verbally explain a concept to the student. Teacher-student or student-student discussions are an important part of this program.
- Small QR code, usually located in the lower left hand side for English and lower right hand side for Telugu to know more about the concepts through videos for clear understanding of the concepts.
- Each topic is developed in detail from class 1 to 5 on the same document. This decision has been taken to facilitate differentiation and progression.

Pupils should be introduced to learning by means of solving problems and this should be done in a number of different contexts.

Besides the curriculum, textbooks too have a significant influence on pupils’ mathematical achievement This text book acts both as an authority in the transfer of knowledge and as a guide in the process of learning, while teachers see their own role in the interpretation of the textbook.
It is a mediator between the curricular policy contents on the one hand and the teaching instructions applied in the classroom on the other. This textbook provides inputs for teachers to make the teaching and learning joyful by engaging the students.
