GSET Answer Key 2024 would be released by the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara on its official website, gujaratset.ac.in.
Candidates who have appeared the Gujarat State Eligibility Test can check details and download the exam answer key from the web portal.
The MSUB has successfully conducted the Gujarat State Eligibility Test or GSET exam. This time, the test was also held for two new subjects namely Philosophy and Geography.
Candidates had to appear for two papers namely Paper 1 and Paper 2 the exams for which were held over two sessions. For each paper, a duration of three hours was given to the examinees. A total of eleven examination centres were set up to hold the exam.
With the conclusion of the examination, candidates now seem to be in search of the answer keys and question paper. The GSET answer key is mostly available in the form of long paper discussion videos from which candidates can cross-check their answers.
It is expected that the official answer keys, along with the question paper, will be released soon on the GSET website.

Candidates are advised to do a final cross-checking of the answers with that of the official answer keys. However, using the unofficial answer keys, the candidates can calculate a tentative score.
GSET Agency will display Provisional Answer Key of the questions on the GSET website www.gujaratset.ac.in to provide an opportunity to the candidates to challenge the Provisional Answer Key. Candidate(s) appeared in GSET Examination can download the Answer key(s).
The Candidates will be given an opportunity to make a challenge against the Provisional Answer Key on payment of Rs. 1000/- per question challenged as processing charges.
Candidates may challenge the answer key(s) by sending a written request to the Member Secretary, Gujarat State Eligibility Test, The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, B – Block, Chameli Baug,
Nr. University Guest House, Prof. C. C. Mehta Road, Vadodara – 390 002 supporting his / her stand with standard books / literature along with the Demand Draft of Rs. 1,000/- per question in favour of the ” Member Secretary, GSET” payable at Vadodara, within stipulated time period given for the same.
The envelope should be marked “Grievance Regarding Answer Key(s) of GSET Examination”. The request(s) so received will be placed before the Expert Committee(s).
GSET Agency’s decision on the challenges shall be final and the result will be declared on the basis of final answer keys. Answer Key Challenges without payment of Processing Charges or without justification/ evidence and those filed on any other medium other than the above prescribed procedure will not be considered.
How to download GSET Answer Key 2024?
Gujarat State Eligibility Test, GSET answer key would be released by theMaharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara on its official website, gujaratset.in after conduct of examination.
Candidates who have appeared the examination can check details and download the answer key from the official website. The candidates can follow the steps given below to check and download the answer key of the examination.
- Candidates who have registered for the Gujarat SET Exam can open the official website of the exam, gujaratset.ac.in.
- Once you reach the official website, click on the Answer key link on the home page.
- After clicking on the link, It will redirect to a new page. On this, download the answer key by clicking on the relevant link.
- After downloading the key, open the key and check your score with this. If you not happy with this key, you can raise you objections though proper channel.
According to the GSET exam pattern, Paper 1 has a total of 50 questions while Paper 2 has 100 questions. For every correct response, 02 marks are awarded.
However, there is no negative marking in the exam. While Paper 1 is compulsory for all candidates, Paper 2 is based on the specialisation subject.
There will be no scope for re-checking or re-evaluation of the results. As per the official notification, the number of candidates to be qualified is going to be 6 per cent of the candidates who appeared for both papers.
Further, the total slots will be allocated to different reservation categories as per the existing government policies.
To be qualified for the exam, candidates belonging to the General (UR) and General EWS categories must have secured 40 per cent aggregate marks in both papers. The same for the reserved categories such as SC, ST, SEBC, PwD, and third gender is 35 per cent.
