TS NTSE 2023, Apply at bse.telangana.gov.in for Stage I National Talent Search Exam

TS NTSE 2023 or TS National Talent Search Examination 2023 notification would be released https://bse.telangana.gov.in/NTSE.aspx. The state-level National Talent Search (first level) Examination 2023 Notifications would be issued every year by the office of the Director of Government Examinations, Telangana State.

Director, Government Examinations, said that the online application deadline for the first phase of the National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is 24-11-2023. 10th Class students should take advantage of this opportunity.

The BSE Telangana, Education department is accepting National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) applications through online mode for the State level NTSE exam (TS NTSE Exam 2023). Students studying in the Tenth during the current academic year are eligible to apply for Stage I NTSE (Telangana NTSE Exam). Those interested have to pay the application fee on or before deadline.

Students studying in the Tenth during the current academic year are eligible to apply for Stage I NTSE (Telangana NTSE Exam). Those interested have to pay the application fee by December 15. The application must be completed and submitted online by December 15.

DGE Telangana has notified that only those candidates who have paid the examination fee for NTSE and NMMSE January 2023 which are going to be held in January 2023  to register their applications on-line on or before 04-12-2023 in this office website http//bse.telangana.gov.in Others are not allowed to register.

TS  National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) for Class X

  • Director of Government Examinations, Telangana State invites applications for National Talent Search Examination (First Level) for class X.
  • The number of scholarships will be allocated by NCERT every year.
  • The candidates will be selected to the Second Level basing on the merit and as per the reservation norms are given by NCERT.
  • 2000 candidates every year are being selected in the Second Level Examination all over the country.
  • The scholarship will be paid by the NCERT, New Delhi. Rs.1250/- per month for Intermediate 1st and 2nd years.
  • Rs.2000 per month up to Post Graduation. For Ph.D. as per UGC norms. The students who are studying X Class during the current academic year 2020-2023 n any recognized school in Telangana State including Kendriya Vidyalayas and schools affiliated to ICSE and CBSE.

NTSE Exam Fee

Examination tee Rs.100/- Rupees Hundred only per candidate should be paid through challan at any treasury branch which is available in this office web site before online registration of applications as the particulars of Examination fee should be noted in the application form at the time of registration.

A consolidated challan for all the candidates from one school is preferable. Names of concerned candidates should be written on the reverse side of the Chalan. (DDs are not acceptable).  

Application form should be registered online in this office web site `http://bse.telangana.gov.in’ as explained in the user guide. A printed copy of online registered Application Forms along with original Challan and two copies of a print of report (i.e. nominal roll) should be submitted in Office of concerned District Educational Officer only. Offline applications are not accepted.

Eligibility for Telangana NTSE

The students who are studying X Class during the current academic year i.e., 2023-2023 in any recognized school in Telangana State, including Kendriya Vidyalayas and schools affiliated to I.C.S.E. and C.B.S.E., New Delhi are only eligible to appear for the above said Examination.

The students who have selected for NMMS scholarships and studying X class now may also eligible for NTS Examination but such candidates have to forego the further NMMS scholarships if he/she are selected in NTS Examination.

Selection Process for Telangana NTSE

TS NTSE National Talent Search Examination. There will be a two-stage selection process for award of scholarship to class X students of AP and Telangana. For Stage I, the selection will be done by both states of AP and Telangana through NTS first level examination December 2020. The Students of AP, who qualify Stage-I, will be eligible to appear for Stage-II examination, conducted by NCERT.

Examination Pattern for Telangana NTSE

The National Talent Search Examination will be conducted for students studying at the Class X level. The examination consists of tests, namely the Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). The items in the MAT and SAT are multiple-choice questions. Each question has four alternatives.

The candidate has to select one correct answer from the given alternatives and mark its number in the answer-sheet as per instructions given on the answer sheet. Each correct answer carries one mark. Thus, the total score of a candidate in a test is equal to the number of questions answered correctly by him/her.

The State Level NTSE Examination consists of Mental Ability Test (MAT) Paper-I in the Morning Session for 100 marks, Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) Paper-Il Afternoon Session for 100 marks comprising Social Studies, Sciences and Mathematics. The Due Dates are announced for remittance of NTSE Examination fee and for submission of applications.

State Level National Talent Search (1st level) Examination for class X will be conducted in Telugu/ Hindi/ Urdu and English media at all the Headquarters of 31 Districts in the State. Language Comprehensive Test will be qualifying in nature and marks will not be added for deciding the final merit list of the candidate and not to be added in the grand total.

NTSE Scholarship Amount:

On the basis of the National Talent Search Examination, 2000 scholarships will be awarded. The amount of scholarship will be Rs.1250/- month.

Head of Account: The Examination fee is Rs.100/- (Rupees Hundred only) per candidate. The examination fee has to be paid in the form of Challan to the following Head of Account: (DDs are not acceptable)

And filled-in application form should be submitted in DEO’s office of the District concerned only. For any further details in this regard the concerned District Educational Officer or Office of the Director of Government Examinations, Hyderabad. Telangana State may be contacted.

Instructions to Candidates / Principal of school:

before filling up the Application Form for State Level National Talent Search Examination. The candidate / Principal of the school must confirm the last date for submission of Application Form from the state liaison officer and Application(s) must be submitted before the last date to the concerned District Educational Officer.

The candidate / Principal shall get confirmed the name of the examination center from the DISTRICT EDUCATIONAL OFFICER. Last Date for remittance of examination fee by the candidates / Head Master or Head Mistress: 04-12-2023.

Incomplete/ wrongly filled-in application is liable for rejection. The candidate/principal shall submit the filled-in application along with the examination fee of Rs.100/- in the form of CHALLAN to the following Head of Account: (No Demand Drafts are acceptable)

GOVERNMENT: A Government School is that which is run by the State Government or Central Government or Public sector Undertaking or an Autonomous Organization completely financed by the Government.

LOCAL BODY: A Local Body School is that which is run by Panchayati Raj and local body institutions such as Zilla Parishad,  Municipal Corporation, Municipalities, Notified Area Committee and Cantonment Board.

PRIVATE AIDED: A private Aided School is that which is run by an individual or a private organization and receives grants from the Government.

PRIVATE UNAIDED: Private Unaided School is that which is managed by an individual or a private organization and does not receive any grant from Government.

How to Apply for Telangana NTSE

Application form should be registered online in this office web site bse.telangana.gov.in’ as explained in the user guide. A printed copy of online registered Application Forms along with original Challan, copies of caste certificates issued by MRO concerned

And medical certificates issued by Medical Board of concerned District in case of SC/ST/OBC/P1-IC and two copies of a print of report (i.e. nominal roll) should be submitted in Office of concerned District Educational Officer only. In the case of SC/ST/OBC/PHC candidates, caste and medical certificates should be uploaded along with application at the time of registration online.

In case of OBC candidates. those who are listed in the central list of OBCs (state-wise) available in the web site www.nebc.nic.in/user/panellcentralliststateview.aspx subject to the income limit notified by the Government should Furnish caste and non-creamy layer certificates for OBC reservation.

Otherwise, they will be treated as general candidates. The following are the due dates for remittance of Examination fee, registration of applications, submission of printed applications, original challans and printed NR.

The examination fee has to be paid in the form of Challan to the following Head of Account drawn only in SBI or SBH where the Challan (Treasury) facility is available.

Important dates /NTSE Fee due Dates: The following are the due dates for remittance of Examination fee and for submission of applications.

By HMs/Principals: Last date for submission of printed copy of online registered Application form along with fee in the shape of Challan (original only), and copies of caste certificates in case of SC/ST/OBC non creamy layer/ for EWS(Economically Weaker Section) income & assets certificate and medical certificates in case PHC candidates

And NR (two copies of NRs) by the candidate/Head Masters of the schools concerned in the office of concerned District Educational Officer. (Printed Application forms, & NR must be attested by concerned Head Master.) (Attested copy of the caste, non-creamy layer certificates for SC/ST/ OBC non-creamy layer respectively, medical certificate for PHC and income & assets certificate for EWS should be enclosed otherwise they will be treated as general candidates): 16-12-2020
